Haven't watched the latest ep. I guess I should tho.

My youngest brother is also watching it. I didn't even know he liked anime until like last summer.

fuck it I guess I'll catch up today

              edit:
and now Harime Nui finally dies and the scissor blade is complete. They go with onee-chan to defeat their mother in the next 3ep and we live happily ever after.

I have to say this show is extremely predictable and it's been pissing me off all season.

yeah but you know it's going to happen eventually. Maybe not right now because they still have a lot of room to bullshit in, but it's going to happen.

also what the fuck is with Ragyo. Are they trying to imply rape?

That mega clothing is going to be worn at some point. The two sisters will ?combine? forces to defeat it. Or they'll manipulate it somehow.

also my prediction came out mostly correct. suck it.

                            edit:
I thought about it some more and
...if they have to destroy all the life fibers, what happens to Ryuko? I assume they're going to pull some shit to make sure the hero is safe, but really the logical conclusion is that she would die.

My biggest fear would be that either Ryuuko or Satsuki will sacrifice themselves in the end to save the world from certain destruction. It'd be the most logical I'd think, but that is my biggest fear because I like em both (especially Satsuki)

The thing is that nobody has died yet. Nobody. In Gurren Lagann we had Kamina and Teppelin, as well as almost Nia. I guess the point of doing those things in Gurren was to use the idea of manliness and protecting what is close to you, but it's still pretty weird that nobody has died yet. Not even Nui.

Furthermore, what is Kill la Kill's point? Usually anime try to push some sort of idea or theme, but there's been really no substantial theme besides family, which is really only starting to become relevant in the last few episodes. I can't help but think Trigger dropped the ball.

Though, even 5 minutes of a show can make a difference, and there's about 40 left, so Trigger still has room to pull the threads together.

edit: I made a silly mistake. The only person who has died is Ryuuko's father. :L
