Trying to get a max HPS parse for someone is really fun for the whole raid though.

Higher DPS = higher uptime on healing CDs = higher HPS
A lot of it comes down to how fast the whole team can finish the boss, so you get high DPS parses in the process. You also have to balance exactly when and how much you want people to stand in the fire so that they are never topped off, but never die. Pretty fun.

High HPS pretty much ONLY means that the tank is undergeared or the DPS suck ass.

Considering that a fixed raid group, as they get better and better at a boss will result in HPS going progressively -lower- means that as a stat, comparing your HPS to someone else's from another raid group is moronic.

Edit: If you down the boss, it means that. If you wipe, everybody is bad.

Sha of Fear? The LFR version is so completely mechanic-free. Fun fight though.

it feels good getting top 10 dps in the world on boss fights. I think I had a few in the past.

I found WoW boring after awhile of the same thing. Their resilience change is what did it for me since I was a big pvper. Now the stat imbalance is bigger between pvpers and people who pvp in pve gear. Basically there's no punishment for having pve gear in pvp but you have a stat bonus so you put out more damage. Also warlocks are bs.

Got back into WoW yet again because friends ;w;

You can take the man out of WoW but not the WoW out of the man.

Been spamming LFR every chance I get with two characters and trying to get my friend to talk me into a regular flex group.
