Does anyone have any idea why songs disappear after I've closed out of LR2? I added songs and played a few, stopped playing then started it back up about an hour later and bam. All my songs are gone in the game. The songs folders are still there, never touched them, but they are all missing in-game. > >

I've never seen that problem before and I've been using this thing for a loooooong time. How did you add the songs? Just one folder, and then each pack is separated by another folder inside that folder, right? Not sure that matters for this problem though. I really have no idea what would cause that.

Have you tried to reload everything? That's the best thing I can think of. I've had an issue before that there would still be songs I have in my list and totally forgot that they weren't in my folder anymore (I moved them to my external hdd). I did a manual reload and that helped.

If everything fails, redownload lr2 because that's the only solution to problems sometimes. (I had to redownload like 5 times because of default skin error )

@Shen - I added the songs one by one by dragging the folders into the box (I dunno where to find packs, I only started couple weeks ago). They worked before then disappeared suddenly, I dun get why tho.

@dizzy - if you mean press F8 after choosing manual reload in the options? Then yeap I've tried that, still nothing.

I'm assuming you just dragged the folders from winrar directly into the lr2 jukebox (because every directory in that jukebox is a temp folder).
Try extracting them into a separate folder first and then loading that folder to lr2.

Yeah, the fact that it's referencing stuff in your Temp directory points to the exact reason for what you're seeing. Stuff in Temp gets deleted sometimes. You're better off making a Songs/Pack/Individual Song folder hierarchy the same way StepMania works then just add the Songs pack to that dialog and remove everything else. I also recommend changing the auto reload option to "auto reload type 2". It will automatically pick up any changes on startup and when entering each sub-folder in-game.

Lol I actually have the previous version of Seraphic, just looking at it. I don't know if it's the version of LR2 I'm using, but I can't use almost any of the theme options. It's really quite weird. I have that same issue trying to use the Sirius theme as well. <.< But now you've got me playing BMS again, so that's always a plus there lol

So I decided to play a bit of BMS (literally). Most of the songs that I have on LR2 are Bemani songs, like Red, Distorted, Gold, Sirius, etc. Not too many, really, but if I do start playing a lot more, I'll need to get much much better with controller.

All of my scores, I use a JKOC ps2 controller with a Radioshack Playstation to usb converter, for now. *eying that sexy ASC DJ DAO controller @_@*


I have to admit, this song is fun as fuc on HYPER. ANOTHER has just a few too many chords for me to handle for the time being. ><

Random FC, which I hadn't gotten on this song yet. From BMSSP200.....7 I think? *too lazy to go look*

I just fixed my Dj Dao RES controller yesterday Probably gonna stop playing keyboard now that I got it working again since I'm so much better using an actual controller.

Thanks guys, kinda figured that was the problem, sigh. All of those songs are deleted lol. Anyone know of places to DL packs so I don't have to DL songs one by one, like Stepmania?

You should find the BMS of Fighters packs. There are some amazing song selections in them, but they are also HUGE packs (like I do believe BMS of Fighters 2011 or 2012 is like 26 gigs or something lol). There are also Beatmania rips out there, as well. I think I do have a few links to some of them if you wanna play Bemani songs.

Nice, shenjoku! :O What was wrong with it in the first place? And you should totally vid yourself playing sometime. I'd like to see how you play, as I'm still pretty amateur at the controller myself.

Outphase in general is good for finding things.

I also have a thread on there that has all the songs required to play the old LR2 internet ranking dan courses: http://forums.outphase.com/showthread.php?t=2861 There are quite a lot of good files in there, though quite a lot of them are pretty insanely difficult. Still nice to have though for something to work towards.

I have no idea what was wrong with it. It just stopped working, probably from age. Upgraded all of the wires and circuit boards to the latest stuff and now it works perfectly again. I was planning on streaming with it eventually :P Gotta wait for the bandwidth to reset on the 15th though since I've been doing way too much downloading this month lol.
