I use ASD (spacebar) UIO with P and Caps for scratches.

QWER P[] for the keys
\ and space for scratching.
(I only use \ key most of the time though. spacebar is mainly for scratchtrilling for me)


Technically I play on P1. but keysetup-wise, it's more like P2 since I flip the display when I play.

So I just got BMS working... What keysetup do you guys use? Also I'm assuming majority of you play P2 because having the scratch on the left hand seems awkward.

I play player one. That's how I've always played Beatmania games at the arcade so it's what I'm used to. My current setup is really weird but I'm planning on changing it next time I get back to it. Currently using left-shift, s, e, f, spacebar, j, i, p. My hands are big so it's really hard to figure out a good configuration where I can use both thumbs and all non-pinkey fingers comfortably on a keyboard.

I'm using qwerp[]\ right now, werp[]\ for 1~7 and then q for scratch

although I'm going to have someone send my KOC from vegas so I can play on a real controller

on the song select screen most of the charts are "easy judgement," is this normal for low level charts?

I think I'm gonna switch to p2 side though because yeah left hand scratch is weird

and yes it's normal even for insane charts.
(most are either Easy or Normal judge and there's only a handful of Hard+ ones.)

Well I tried a new hand layout that uses both thumbs and quickly realized my left thumb is retarded since I could barely pass 6s. Sooo I think I'm sticking with my weird setup that uses a pinky for scratch even though I can't do any complex scratching at all lol.

I also finally caved and spent $100 to get the parts to update my DjDao RES controller. Hopefully I should be able to fix it so I won't have to use keyboard anymore.

*ahem* anyways, here are some pretty decent scores from the other day when the site died. Managed to pass an 11, although I'm pretty sure Panorama isn't actually an 11 because it's easier than a lot of 10s.

I got SUPER close to passing Orange Tea. I've never managed to pass that even with a IIDX controller

I also realized that I messed up some of the screenshots since the score breakdown is covered by some ex score thing that I didn't notice was there at the time, whoops.

Switched over to a generic usb kb since my illuminated broke after about a year of keysmashing.


★9 ERIS （Another+） Easy Clear
I can finally press 8keys at once on this KB, so chordy charts like this are easier to clear now. But my accuracy is a mess.
(mfw more greats than pgreats on a easy judge chart)

Hi, Cerise summoned me here.

Haven't played LR2 much lately. I have a habit of pressing each key with the force of a quadrillion suns, so my keyboards don't last long (and buying a new KB isn't exactly at the top of my priorities list)

Apparently I need 5+ posts to link other sites, so I guess image attachments will do for now.

Some of my achievements before my keyboard gave in:
