Sounds pretty lame but my girlfriend and 3 close friends is all I need. I know a lot of people that I enjoy being in their company (as a result of working in a pub which is very local driven) but don't go out my way to see. My partner was my best friend for nearly a year before we went out and we live together so I'm very content spending most of my time with her.

But the one nice thing about having friends is that you actually feel as if you have a presence in the world that isn't confirmed by your conscience. Go missing for a few days? They will take note of it and ask where you've been. The world's a funny place. And if you haven't found people like that yet, then I guess it's a Canada thing.

It's funny you mention this because I never noticed until I moved to Canada that people around my age at the time were at a lot more caring and friendly.

basically my situation as well.

it's the group of friends I have that I go drinking with every saturday night at pubs

super typical but i love it haha
