You seem to be taking it a bit to personal devonin. Everyone's problem with this has nothing to due with this persons identity.

If this person wanted to be considered either female, male, shemale, malefe. maleshe or it that would all be totally fine. I have zero issues with gender identity, but getting offended when people don't agree to call you something that doesn't make sense to English grammar is just being unreasonable.

You can call yourself whatever you wish, but it doesn't change your biology. Yes, I realize there's a difference between sex and gender, but when it boils down to it, we are what we are. The true issue is how cemented gender roles are in society. They want to turn away from sterotypical gender roles, that's great. But when it comes down to it, the pronouns he or she are a biological matter of sex, not gender.

That kind of reminds me of that whole story of the parents that were pushing a female gender role on their son and demanded that he be allowed to use the girls bathroom at school.

Even if the kid totally identified as a female that doesn't change the fact that he had a penis. Bathrooms are the way they are for an entirely practical reason. It has to do with biology, not gender identity.

Pronouns aren't quite so objective, but they should still follow grammar rules.
