tbh I agree with this more than anything in the thread. You shouldn't hit your mom, not because she's your mom, but because you just shouldn't punch anyone at all. However, if someone doesn't deserve that respect there's not much you can do about it.

It's not like you punched her because you were like "LOL MOM I GOT A FUN NEW IDEA ROFLMFAO".

anyway my family is just as bad (give or take) at over reacting. Basically if anyone has hated me in my entire FFR life it's probably because I've never learned from a proper parent how to act normally in any given situation. I've actually almost gotten thrown out merely because I wouldn't turn off a light or some similar shit. I've never hit anyone, but I bet the moment I did I would be off to jail without a second thought. My mom attacked me verbally for an hour, not because I got a B instead of an A, because I made a can of soup wrong.

So I can kinda understand your frustration. Your home doesn't sound at all like a house where people respect each other. So why bother giving it back. I'd suggest getting the fuck out of there ASAP-- if you have the means. After you get out you're going to have to work on trusting people and respecting them more. It's probably a big problem right now.

But to be blunt wouldn't accurately depict what you were conveying, which was ignorantly stating an opinion regarding whether ones habit of smoking pot is the source of ones incapacity to thrive in life and that using ffr as a source of comfort and advice is non conducive to figuring out ones problems. While it may be true Zeldagurl is a seriously confused individual who has virtually no sense of actual logic, anyone knowing these things and her through previous interactions with the slightest intuition should recognize her OP as a typical woe is me there ARENT actually two sides of the story I'm the one who got fucked over type of please sympathize post. Likely Zelda is a ridiculous person by nature who has more than likely put herself in this situation seeking solace from those too nice to tell her to grow up and focus on the character flaws that create the instability she has in her life.

She lives in canada where it is abnormally cheap for high grade. She can conservatively smoke and find a way to live comfortably enough. I've done it under the same conditions paying exponentially more. If it's an essential, just be sure to prioritize elsewhere.

Think of your mother like your boss. She might Bully you and she might get on your nerves but she is in fact the boss. If you don't want a job to come back to then sure punch your boss in the face, but you know very well the consequences of doing that. Its not so much a respect thing its a common sense thing. If the outcome of a situation is not beneficial to you then you should always bite your tongue and wait for a better opportunity to arrive.
