It's just google, I dont see why people make such a big deal out of it. All of their employees make ridiculous money just like all the other Silicon Valley tech companies

no loans because of scholarship but i took this semester off to work for extra money and found out this is a job i can work full time and go to school EZ together
ive had a savings acct for awhile and it's been building up slowly over the years
25 years old. No retirement account. Credit card debt. I had a retirement account, but I absolutely needed the money, so I took the penalty. However, I have life insurance. Going to restart my retirement account hopefully in March 2014.
I only have 500 in an rrsp (that will hopefully change before the year ends though, because my job isn't constant I can't always contribute as much as I'd like)
100 per month goes in a tax free savings account (potential down payment for house)
250 per month goes in a provincial government pension that the government matches dollar per dollar (circa 2010)
200 per month goes in canadian cpp (i'm not gonna rely on this to retire LoL)
If I start working full time in the next 2 years, I can retire comfortably by 2045 when I'm 55. I might have to stretch it 'till 58 to have extra security but we'll see when I get there.
23, just started working and I have no idea. At least I'm working full time for awhile until I go back to school at the beginning of the next school year.
Couple months into 21, I presently have no debt. I am in the 6th semester of an 8-semester 5-year program at my school. I have absolutely nothing gone towards retirement at this point, mainly because I've focused on achieving my goal of escaping university debt free.
This will change once I finish school however - I'll be midway through 22 and will hopefully work for one of the places that I've co-oped in during my school career. I don't know what my options are that I can throw into a retirement either though, so I could use the time between now and graduation to read up on what would be best.
