Do i smell HYPE !!!!!!!!!!???????????????
I THINK I SMELL HYPE IN HEREEEEEEEEE!!!!!Originally posted by CallipygianThere's always some issue you can find with the exact terminology of a game. In fact, let me here make a case that the current system has racist undertones:
Blackflags are worse than whiteflags and AAA's are indicated as yellow in R^3, suggesting that a perfect score is Asian.Comment

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Sign-ups open!
"if you got time to take a shit you got time to read a book" - abstract mindstate 2004 epYeah. I'm fairly sure I don't want to play.
And no, you don't have to play 12 hours. But you do have to put a good amount of time into it. 3-4 hours at least, and that isn't an exaggeration. What's worse is that people DO play for 12 hours a day.
And yeah, I'm a college student. It takes time, and a lot of it. I had a project for due one month later, worked 6 hours on it a day, and still didn't finish. Only one person did.
And saying this now, I feel like I'd be better off elsewhere. Obviously, people think I'm joking or exaggerating, but I'm not. To get the tokens I have now? I had to play 6-8 hours a day. I'm not blowing this up. Anyone who is in D4-7 is lying if they say they've not grinded like that before.
Perhaps I am too serious for this place, I suppose. Have fun with your tournament.
I'll be living in the real world.
i've never played for more than 30minutes-1hour a day, and i've never played for more than a month or two on a consistent basis and i'm d7
AND i'm a double major college student in a really rigorous program
AND i still have like 6 hours of free time every day to do stuff
stop whining

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Sign-ups open!
Alright, now that I'm actually home and not passing out at my computer, I'm going to reiterate a two things.
First off: I'm going to make this very clear to everyone -- I am not joking around when I say that I will resort to removing people from the tournament if issues with division placements come up in the thread, especially in the tone of how a few people have brought them up before. There have been a number of people that were kind enough to come to me on Skype and/or PMs with legitimate concerns (to name a few: danceflashrevo, reuben_tate, kainivy, Tibbers, RagedBerserker, Ecoli, Trumpet63), and these are very much preferred over the forums because it allows me to have direct contact with you and your concerns. They are important to me.
Keep those things outside of the thread, and bring them to my attention so I can address it. Note that if your problem is something that is addressed on the OP, I will refer you back to the first post.
Secondly: I don't appreciate the fact that users are needlessly insulting others, and the tournament hasn't started. As the rules mention: be respectful to others. This is supposed to be a fun event, and you shouldn't be gaining enjoyment insulting others.Last edited by TC_Halogen; 10-13-2013, 03:25 PM.Comment

You had numerous SDGs in the C range, and you also had Carousel Paradise SDG'd as well -- the numerous SDGs in the C range were enough to put you in D3, but Carousel sealed the deal. Placements aren't just a one-score deal.
In regards to the dashboard, there are people in D3, but they are not fully finalized/agreed upon. As I mentioned before, placements aren't going to show up until they are agreed upon by all five judges.Comment
