Honestly Jayce wouldn't even be that bad a champion if he only had his ranged form.
This was more true pre-E nerf, but still, he wouldn't be terrible.

I miss the days where AD mids was a laughable thing...

I miss being able to spam my Lux laughs in lane.

So I'm gonna play more Lux.

As to Jayce though, he totally needed that nerf. However, I think taking away his other form and giving him an actual ulti would be neat.

Lux needs moar movespeed and AP ratios. I think 1:1 ratios would be just fantastic.

Also lower her ulti to 24 seconds at max CDR again. That was the shit.

There was a while where Shushei was streaming

I watched him play like 10 straight games of AP Nami, top and mid
He lost lane every time but man was it funny

He built Lich Bane for the proc on E and then CDR items, presumably to spam heal because he was always getting owned :P

That reminds me. I recently picked up Syndra and love playing her in mid *_* (I had too many melee mids so I needed another ranged besides Ahri). I have yet to lose lane with her and one of those times I was up against an AP Nami. She was the hardest lane I've had with Syndra so far but it was probably because I underestimated what she could do (like harass for free with that AP healing asdklfjaosidufoiuwe). Oh that and her jungler seemed to have a boner for ganking mid lane now that I remember.

too high of a skillcap with not enough pay off. fun, but quite useless even when fed

jayce needed the nerfs, and he's still a really strong top laner. you just won't see that stupid muramana power spike until 30 minutes later (it's so fucking slow to build up now fml). the core concept on jayce is still the same tohugh: can you land your q-e's?? then ur gud. can you react fast enough to destroy wards with your w? then ur gud. do you know how much % dmg will be taken off against someone when you e them and kill them instead of smacking them away to safety? then ur gud.
