(race times are generally a couple seconds faster due to the speed boost available from drafting, barring screw-ups)

Almost makes me wish I had a Live account so I could go after the last two paint jobs.

Edit: Posting here to verify that The Bell Rings 7 Times (funfest mission in BW2) is possible to pass in a solo run. Climbing the tower itself takes about 30 seconds, and yes you do need to go up the middle of the stairs. After ringing the bell, fly to Mistralton and bike back to the tower, running through the grass, to save precious seconds! Oh yeah, and have lots of max repels on hand. The level of execution involved here is roughly the same as getting 9.16 seconds on the cycling road in RSE.

Well I finally went and did it. I've been wanting to try my hand and speedrunning for a long time and I've started my first game. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

I play LTTP once or twice a year just because it's so much fun and brings back some good memories, so I pretty much know the entire game backwards and forwards. I think that makes it a good starting game

So far I've been focusing on the light world and early dark world. I can get to the dark world in about 33 minutes, which I guess is pretty good? I dunno. Got a long ways to go but I'm looking forward to the journey.
