Staiain posted an AAA on a 300 bpm stream file recently so yeah he does try a little bit of everything; he has many other normal rate scores (Vertex Gamma FC and so on).

He's more about pushing limits though, and I appreciate that highly. I do the same thing.

Re: I could actually retire now, this is ridiculous

Well I have been close to some ridiculous AAA's but I usually choke from nerves or concentration, stuff like the a la menthe beginner and almost there edit, i flagged a million times. I rarely do go for AAA's cause of my bad cool and concentration, because when I repeatedly make mistakes that should have been avoided it becomes kinda ragebait for me and I end up discouraged.

But yeah, as Dossar said, I enjoy more pushing my speed forward and keep raising the bar on how fast I can go. Since I still get random skillboosts here and there I'm sure I can keep going faster for a while still and I'm curious to see what I'm truly capable of. TOML is one example, where 1.5 was absurd to even dream about back in the day, now I AA'd 1.6 with good margin, and have a high A on 1.7 with 500+ combo, stuff like this motivates to me push forward and I might eventually end up AA'ing if I keep playing the way I enjoy now

I can't see the video at the moment and I don't know if this is serious or not, but this is false. Whenever it comes to any sort of physical activities (or coordination activities), sometimes there are mechanical/neurological advantages and disadvantages. For some people, coordinating speed past a certain point just isn't going to happen even if they have perfect reading ability.

he means people plateau. it doesn't matter how much willpower you have, some people simply have lower trilling speed than other people and always will.

                  This.

Staiain I'm assuming you'd have the willpower to want to vibrate to expand available files to destroy (e.g. Nemo with the 24th jacks), but there are physical limitations. I certainly have the willpower to improve my skill on pad for instance, but I'm physically stuck at around 150 BPM for streams and it gets very aggravating; technical aspects like a good pad also come into play.
