Re: Unreal Tournament 3
Internet has nothing to do with the fact that they're **** PC's....No kidding PC couldn't handle it. Somebody at my school managed to bring in UT to a computer class on his jump drive, so a bunch of us downloaded it on to our drives. Somebody would host a game, but by the time 4 other people got on, the game would just lag, lag, and LAG! I'm sure you're thinking well these are school computers and you're right, but we're also on a LAN, so it really shouldn't lag the way it does.
I completely agree. UT2004 is alot better.Originally posted by Jewpinthethird"Hey Keywii" Said Foil in a raspy voice.
"Hey Foil. What's that you got there?" inquired Keywii.
"Oh, just my cock." Replied Foil.
"That just will not do." was keywii's response as she lunged for the scissors, pulled the blades apart, and clamped them down on the base of foil's shaft. Blood start gushing out of the wound where his penis used to be.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yelled Foil in horror.
"Don't worry. I'm a wizard" uttered Keywii. And with that, Foil's penis grew back.Comment

Re: Unreal Tournament 3
Unreal Championship (for the Xbox since I suck using a Keyboard and mouse..) made me so happy. Playing as a character that started with the Flak Cannon... Picking up more Ammo for the flak cannon... Having more ammo... More damage.. Oh so happy.Comment

Re: Unreal Tournament 3
Yikes. I guess they had a lot to live up to after 2004, but really, it wouldn't've been hard to just make 2004 with better graphics and sell massive numbers of copies. I mean, that's what they did with 2004. They just took 2003, added more modes and cool stuff and released it. =\So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

It might just be his opinion. Remember Squeek isn't much of the multiplayer type person. If you are then try it out for yourself =] I definitely am.Yikes. Re: Unreal Tournament 3
I'm not an online multiplayer type person. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy LANs. In fact, when my friends come home from college, we frag in LAN parties about 4 days a week.
Unreal 3 is just not as fun. It's slower, it lacks a lot of gameplay modes, and it's just visually unappealing. Not to mention that the graphical requirements are much more intense, so if your PC is over 2 years old, as mine is, it will look even worse.Comment

Re: Unreal Tournament 3
I have UT3 for the PS3 and it's by far my favorite game. You can use a controller or kb&m. The graphics and online multiplayer are great. Anyone who says there aren't enough game modes just needs to download more mods. I have about 80 downloaded maps, about 20 extra mutators, and a bunch of gametypes (elimination, mutant, ut2d, multiteam dm...). Theres even a 2-d version which makes it kind of like a platformer. There are even new weapons (freeze ray). The only downside is no splitscreen. Also, if you arent an online person, you can play instant action against bots which you can set on retard level up to godlike (you'll get your ass kicked)Comment

Re: Unreal Tournament 3
I can't believe they got rid of Invasion in UT3. Definitely my favourite thing to play at LANs.Originally posted by Jewpinthethird"Hey Keywii" Said Foil in a raspy voice.

Re: Unreal Tournament 3
Scrolling up and down this thread all i see is EnR's post about it not being 2 play and all that, erm...since when has Unreal TOURNAMENT required a story mode in order to play online which is it's orginal purpose, UT3 has a lot of modes(exaggeration xD) and even though it isn't that pretty it still has its ups
If you're going to buy the game to play 2 players and find a story line, look somewhere else, get it for PC, not xbox or PS3...for PC, get a good graphix card, some RAM, and connect up play the game for the reason it was made for, dont complain ^_^
I have it on my computer and im content, i've played UT2004 and ehhh they are kind of tied with my opinion. >_>;Comment

Re: Unreal Tournament 3
I never did play any of Unreal Tournament games.
I have though played the first Unreal and Unreal 2 before that specific series became multiplayer only.
