I don't think that's really necessary. If something happens, whoever feels cheated can take a screenshot and report what happened. I think it'd be pretty tricky to cheat and get away with it.

I might join but with the sheer number of restarts I sometimes need just to get rid of lag at the beginning (sometimes only to get unfair lag halfway through), I feel like this would be more hassle and frustration for me than anything...

I think this will be a problem for a lot of players. Maybe you could be allowed multiple restarts (10?) so long as you haven't hit more than a number of arrows (10?).

So... I've been thinking about it a bit, and I'm a little curious about the scheduling for this tourney. If it's going to be held in multiplayer, obviously both players will have to be present at the same time, so is there going to be a set time/date for the matches or will that be decided amongst the the players participating? Also, is someone going to be in each multiplayer lobby monitoring the matches? Not saying there's going to be any cheating, but I would figure you'd have to have some third party watching to make it official.

I will not be playing in any matches, and R^3 allows me to spectate in five different rooms at once under one account. I intend on asking for more help, but I haven't progressed that far in my plans.

How do you sign up? I'm a forum newbie, so to speak. I have difficulty navigating these pages even. What's the tournament like? just like any other tournament ? The two new engines have been buggy when I use them for some reason, and I have no idea how to fix them, so if they're taking place on either of the two new engines, I won't be able to do well.

Hiya. Don't worry, I can answer questions you might have.

This tournament is different from other tournaments in the forums because a huge majority of this tournament will be played live in FFR Multiplayer -- there's not going to be checking in a thread constantly, there's going to be active listening in the Multiplayer lobby. The only time where you will be posting scores in this thread is during the qualifying session, where I will post every division's two songs, and you will play the two songs for your division as well as the two songs for the division above you.

As of right now, the tournament is taking place in the Legacy engine multiplayer, which means you can play using the oldest FFR engine. However, R^3 can communicate with people in both multiplayer lobbies, so anyone using R^3 will not have to worry about being in a specific room, as they can be in both.

If I can be allowed multiple restarts due to lag then I will join (I don't know my schedule for the duration of this tournament so it might not even be suitable for me h4h4 gg wtg etc.). Fortunately, I can still function with Legacy. (clap)

You don't get to choose your division but you'll get into novice anyway.
