      question: if the wolf can also get the guard item then it doesnt matter, unless you're saying he'd just hold it till the end or give it to someone and wolf someone else. can the wolf use the guard to protect a day lynch? per say second to last phase, he's about to be ousted & lynched, drop the item and slide in for the win.

      should be bomb with trav, gotta lil old school goin on. wheres mak

        No, the guard item is a night only item. If the wolf were to get it, he can hold it, pass it or use it. Entirely up to you.

              I may be lessening the total of players by 1 for my story to work. That means 11 total. Actually, I will be lowering it to 11 players.

                    FYI, this is the amount of players you should have since it prevents a 1:1 human/wolf scenario on the last day (assuming the wolf lives that long).

                    If your wolf hits the vigi before the vigi goes off and survives till the end, you will end in a 1:1 situation which is unfair to both players (ending the game on a coin toss blows).

                    Might I suggest since the Vigi is chosen at random from the humans, that the vigi is randomly chosen on night 2 amoung the surviving players? This ensures the vigi goes off and the games doesnt end in a 1:1 scenario.

                      That's not a terrible idea. Would you propose the vigi stay cursed and be forced to used it or just be normal? I like the cursed idea to make sure it's used in an uncertain situation. If they aren't cursed then they can hold it and win formsire

                        Yes, they should stay cursed. You need that vigi to go off to prevent the coin flip scenario.

                        I would also suggest a small appendum to the vigi (if you don't already have it) If they don't send in a kill, they die. You're counting on 2 kills that phase to prevent a coinflip at endgame.


                        Since you're including a guard item, you should make a note that if it comes down to a 1:1 scenario on a day phase, the wolf wins. Guard item wouldn't really matter in this case since a blocked kill would only extend the humans one phase into a 1:1 scenario.
