I thought the episode was incredible.

It brought out many characteristics of the minor characters. Shelby's characterization as a sarcastic "funny guy" was well done. Lemongrab referring to Tree Trunks as a slave was hilarious albeit slightly inappropriate. Ice King mistaking NEPTR for BMO was a little sad, but likewise hilarious. Also, Tree Trunks names for everybody (Ice Cream, Lemon Carb, etc...) lel. The writers also trolled the crap out of us with the walking book. Maybe the imagination zone will come to life in "Bad Little Boy".

The most recent two episodes of Adventure Time have been incredibly revealing and each requires some background literature to be fully grasped:

Before you watch "I Remember You" you should probably watch the following:

-Prisoners of Love -Evicted! -It Came from the Nightosphere -Memory of a Memory -Holly Jolly Secrets 1&2 -Return to the Nightosphere/Daddy's Little Monster

Before you watch "The Lich" consider these episodes:

-Enchiridion! -Mortal Recoil -Mortal Folly -His Hero -Beyond this Earthly Realm -Fionna & Cake -In Your Footsteps -King Worm -The New Frontier

Also the episodes that deal with Susan Strong, Magic Man, Mars, Death, Flame Princess, and "Lady & Peebles" will be important for next season. As misc. recommendations, you should watch "Five Short Graybles" and "The Creeps".

You probably should start from the beginning though. The episodes are very short and there are only one or two I can think of that I consider a complete waste of time watching.

Thanks so much. I'm actually almost halfway through season 1 right now and I already love the show. I'll keep all of that in mind, though

EDIT: Holy shit at Memories of Boom Boom Mountain. Best episode so far.

This show is just adorable.

Don't know what you guys thought, but I thought "Little Dude" was kinda bad, or at least uninteresting.

Finished with season 1, halfway through season 2 and watching some of season 3/4 to catch up as quickly as possible.

BMO is quite possibly the most adorable character I have ever seen on television.
