To sign up, go to http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ent/signup.php Make sure you click the signup button on the page. Just going to the page alone WILL NOT sign you up. Posting in this thread WILL NOT sign you up.

This is my first tournament, and really first interaction with the FFR Community so hi I guess.

I just play random songs so I'm not too familiar with all the terms being thrown around here. Wondering exactly how each Division is setup and if it's not too much trouble, if someone could explain what the #-#-#-# terms are referring to.

Hello Cuddlecody, and welcome to the FFR forums.

The divisions are based on your overall skill level -- the higher the number, the higher the division you are placed in (and the harder your songs will be). As far as the "#-#-#-#" term you're mentioning, I'm assuming you're mentioning the dashboard and this right here. I'm not 100% sure, though:



Those are the user eliminations. It will be a bit more clear when the divisions are actually in place, but here's an example from a tournament that I just finished running:

D5: 40 - 27 - 15 - 8 - 5 - 3 - END

That indicates in my tournament that we started with 40 people, then cut the field down to 27 for round 2, 15 people for round 3, 8 for the quarter-finals (round 4), 5 for the semi-finals (round 5), and 3 for the finals (round 6).

either what halogen said, or it refers to a score someone got with the
goods-averages-misses-boo count, with rest being perfects.

ex 4-0-0-0 would be a clean Full combo, with only 4 goods and nothing else.

Both posts were helpful, though now I'm worried I'll be placed in a higher Division (unless 13k/1.8m isn't considered a high rank due to inactive players or something) and I don't think of myself as a great player.

I'll just have to try my hardest anyways, and thanks for the advice!

Overall rank isn't that good of a skill indicator (my overall rank is around 2,000 and I'm rated higher than most players in the top 1000), don't worry about it.
