I won't do it.

If you can have a lead guitar act as the voice (odd wording, but you get what i mean) or completely leave it out I bet it will (still) sound wicked

would it sound bad or be rly tedious if you spoke the lyrics slower, then chopped out downtime/sped up parts to get it at the right bpm?

Is it cool if I send something that is gonna be in another album?
or does that not float anyone's boat here?

@StoneMcKnuckle: If you want a clean recording without having to speed up parts of the song to get it at the right BPM, open up your DAW and set it at half the tempo you want. Then, turn the metronome on and record what you want to put in, keeping in time with the metronome all the way through. Finally, double the speed of your own recording afterwards to create the illusion that you're a Busta Rhymes or Tonedeff imitator; Weird Al Yankovich did something like this in "Hardware Store" and "White and Nerdy" and it came out perfectly fine. It might work for you as well...I've never tried it yet, but it should work.

I don't know, CBR wants stuff that's for the most part, has not yet been released to the public. You can, however work on something else and submit that.

no and I'm about to tell you why

                - Your type hierarchy is a complete mess. OMNICORE is more important than CBR presents, and the latter is literally the first thing everyone looking at this sees.

                - The way your type reads is also awkward. 2 OMNICORE vs OMNICORE 2. What gives you the idea to put it in front in the first place?

                - Your background is rainbow, why should you put it in the text too—it's completely redundant and just makes it look more jarring than appealing. If you want colour, stick with 1 colour scheme for spot colour, not place every single colour, lmfao.

                - CBRCD–002 should align to something, like the bottom of the number 2. It's floating in space.

                - Where the O in OMNICORE overlaps the 2 is awkward because of the gap. Shift the 2 upward or make it larger should you choose to keep it this way.

                - The top header is a completely different element in the design that doesn't belong—why is it a translucent bar with a shine when nothing else on this album has anything even remotely similar to it.

                - Likewise, the white stroke on the banner combined with the shine effect is awkward in general.

                - Why is presents in CBR presents the only thing on this design that doesn't use a bold weight? If everything is bold, make it bold too, otherwise make something else a lighter weight to counterbalance the usage.

                - My opinion on the banner is completely scrap it all together, make CBR presents smaller in point size and place it somewhere above OMNICORE. Type looks best as a block and in one cohesive unit and keeping them separate just makes it awkward.

                - If OMNICORE has a white stroke and faint outer glow why doesn't 2 have it too? In fact, why is 2 the only different one out of the bunch?

                - Fix the kerning between O&M and C&O in OMNICORE.

                - Just the overall spacing from the type to the edges is bothering me. If you're going to center everything, make damn sure it's centered and that there's equal spacing from all sides.

                - By default, photoshop's stroke is always rounded at the edges. You may have to go in and manually fix that if you want cleaner, and less awkward looking stroke. e.g. just look at the bottom and top edges of MNI in OMNICORE and you'll see what I mean

fix those and it'll look better pce

I've thought of this, but I have a feeling it's gonna end up sounding like shit and I'm not feeling too hot about putting down days on a song that might go nowhere. I'm sure there's some way to do this properly that I'm completely unaware of, but when you fiddle with the tempo without fiddling with the pitch at the same time you fuck with the sample a bit too much. I know lowering the tempo completely and utterly fucks the recording over, but I can't remember if the effects of upping the tempo are quite as severe. If they're not, it's worth a shot. I'll have to play around with it a little.

edit: there's also the thing about me being a fucking terrible singer heh. I'll have to use autotuning which I'm not a huge fan of either. either way, I'll screw around with this idea for a while longer before I give up and do something else.

My song is finished in sequencing, but I have no access to good speakers at the moment so chances are; the mixing is terrible. I'll be submitting shortly after new years.
