88.888...% (8/9) or higher is an AAA.
77.777...% (7/9) or higher is an AA. And so on, until 22% or higher for an E. Anything below that is an F (I think? never bothered to get 11% or lower, ha ha).

It's actually pretty tough to get an AAA for the average player since that requires strong PA. The timing on LR2 for normal/hard/very hard judge is actually pretty strict.
