Looking to get into this, big time, Not sure if the translator at http://www.darksyn.biz/two/pso-2/pso...patches-files/ is currently up to date, if so y'all should try it for me, Otherwise Im still downloading. I have experience in PSU On console in the Xbox beta, 400 hours PSU Offline console, 120 hours PSU AOTI PC Cracked, How do the controls work out, will I be able to jump in and already know all the controls, Can I get help, etc etc other assorted stuff.

Halp pls.

Noteable questions: Is there a palette like in PSU?
Photon arts?
Hunter and all that stuff? Explain for PSO2
Anything else I needa know?

There is a palette, though it is different, there are 3 rows for items, and 3 starting weapon slots (can go up to 6 later). You can also set 3 PA's per weapon and I -think- you can set spells right on the item palette.

PA's are not like PSU, you need to find/buy them and they have determined levels so you can't just grind them up.

The 3 main classes are Hunter, Ranger, and Force. It should be fairly obvious what each of them do, also as far as I know, gender/race doesn't make much of a difference in stats for this game. Levels are also by class, so if you get to level 20 as a Hunter then switch to Ranger, you go back to level 1, though you're Hunter is still level 20.

The shop system is nothing like PSU, there is no trading, so you buy everything directly from player shops, and you can't have your own unless you get a 3-day pass from the lottery or you buy a premium pass.

Only other thing you may like knowing is if you have a 360 controller that you can connect to your PC you can use it to play PSO2 since the game is set up to be played with one, otherwise you'll have to look up the keyboard/mouse controls.

So aside from being able to go up to level 20 hunter and whatnot, is there any other leveling system as in PSU? Am I to understand theres a level cap of 20, cause from a lets play I saw, where he got to 3 in no time at all, I suspect 20 will be too easy.

The race stats not being so prevolent is also annoying, I want my super hunter Beast QQ

The level cap is currently 50, and there are 6 classes and a subclass which to my knowledge lets you add abilities from another class to your current.

Also every time you level up you get a skill point which you use to build up abilities from your skill tree.

Are these skill points used on abilities purely stat based, or do they somehow fit in with PAs?

There are stat increases, as well as special abilities like Weak Bullet (Ranger ability) and things like monomates healing more (mates heal a set % of health unlike PSU so they're always useful)

Where does everyone play, usually? I probably still am way to low to even compete with any of you, but I unlocked my first class today, which is the Techer so I'm rather happy about that and just leveling it so I can subclass it to get Gunner/Fighter soon.
