Oh this is good. I was just about to come drop out when I saw this. At first I hoped this contest would increase my motivation to start stepping, but that did not help as much as I wanted it to, plus I have an even harder time stepping songs of other people's choosing, even though there is 20k just for submitting a chart. I did not want to be one of those people that signs up for something and just goes inactive without saying anything.

Anyhoo, I will try to get something done by tomorrow. Thanks for all the encouragement here.

By the way, what type of reviews will we get? Like in-depth reviews or just a grade and a summary or whatnot?

This was asked before, there are no reviews for these. Unless someone wants to go back and do reviews later. I don't want to make everyone wait forever for results on the winners.

The bright side is they will be up for people to see so they can give you tips and such on your file.

I was half asleep when answering before so let me be a little more precise on this. I don't mine people sending in fixes as long as it's before the submission deadline. However, please don't resend a file several times. That could end up getting a little confusing.

Another question, but this one is about cutting the song; are we allowed to cut one section of a song and then immediately skip over to the part afterwards?

You can cut the song however works for you. I like seeing all the different cuts people have been coming up with so far.

I've been going through files as they come in just for curiosity sake and I have to say almost all of you guys that say you have no experience and that you have no shot of winning did a really nice job on your charts.
