Also for anyone who is curious of the item build I went:

Merc treads are just the boots I always get. Since I don't jungle nor AD carry anymore (due to morons in bot lane) I have no need to ever get anything else.
Heart Of Gold - GP10 = sex. Randuin was going to be the final item to allow it the most time to grant me gold. I love me some gp10s. I was suggested to get Philo stone and get Reverie as well, but I need to actually do it a few times.
Thornmail: Most of their team was AD and I just rush in and tank a lot when I play Irelia. So it seems kinda common sense to get this. Amumu switched to AP for some reason (Granted it was working.)
Trinity: Move speed, attack speed, AND damage? What isn't to love?!
Maw: Swain and Amumu were raping my face. It gave damage and magic resist and another ability that I am unaware of the precise stats off the top of my head.
Warmogs?: I just like this item, it's been working when I get it since I do a lot of farming so it got stacked quickly. Like I said it's just been working. Why change what is working eh?

bad build

u never get thornmail on irel because you want people to pop their CDs and physical skills on u
also u want people to be slowed / ias debuff with warden's mail so you should get warden's after HoG for survival and tankiness
leaving HoG for gp10 effect is stupid after early game

Randuin's
Trinity Force
Wit's End
GA

The game should be over by the time you have those 5 items but uh
If enemy is dual AP get a Maw or Aegis, if enemy has lots of AD then Randuin should be enough

Makes enough sense. Though with the way you posted, are you suggesting to "rush" randuins or wait and let the heart of gold tick for a while. Because if I'm not letting it tick for a while It seems somewhat pointless to go that route in the first place.
