Interesting read, nice thread idea. In my third year of a BSc in Chemistry, graduating in May and moving on to work on an MD in August... Woo~

PS most students with my major really are somewhat underwhelming... I dunno what the average GPA is, but I would imagine it's around 3.2-3.6

At my school the average for the engineering school was something like 2.8. For the business school, 3.2, and for the college of arts and sciences, something like 3.4-3.5, I wanna say.

Yeah... My first major was Marine Biology. I would have gone to Texas A&M-Galveston, but I changed my major (can't remember which one. I think it was Kinesiology). After that, I wanted to go to University of Houston, but my dad said, "No, you're going to a community college."

I got 3.92/4.0 but more than half of the CS undergraduates got out with above 3.5 xd

I graduated with a bachelors degree in Information Assurance and Security Engineering. I really should get started on my masters for a degree in Computers, Information Systems, Networks, and Security, only because my current employer will pay for some schooling and it would look better on my resume. Following up with that I have my GCIA and I am currently working on my GCIH, though I don't believe that anyone else was specifically listing industry certificates.

3rd year in BSc in chemistry. No minors declared since I'm changing to a specialization program after may.

The average GPA here depends on the level of the course, (with 1st year classes having the lowest average GPA.) The classes I've taken so far had average gpas ranging anywhere from 2.3 to 2.9

Live in MD, still go to UMBC for Information Systems, in my senior year. I work for SAIC right now (defense contractor) as a software engineer/research analyst.

To tell you the truth, I'm not too interested in getting a college education. Maybe in an art field for the connections, but otherwise I'm not going to put myself in debt for something that'll only be good for getting a normal job, rather than the job I was working hard for.

3rd year Medical Science studies. I'll be getting my Associates of Science at the end of this year, then going on to get a bachelor's in either biology or chemistry, haven't decided yet but will probably side with biology. I completed an EMS course my first semester of college, got my license one month later. Fun stuff~

average gpa at my private liberal arts college is a 2.4-2.6, i study about 30-40 hours a week and can only get a 3.7
grade deflation at it's finest -- get in debt get bad grades ya fucced

Gonna go to a technical school for about 2 years to get associates in science. Thinking about possibly going the whole way to become a veterinarian but we'll seeee.

I graduated last May woo, BS in Architectural Engineering minor in Interior Design from the University of Texas at Austin. It took me 5 years to complete the intense coursework. I'm currently pursuing a Masters of Science Degree in Structural Engineering.

Game Programming Diploma at AI Vancouver. I tried for Computing Science at SFU, but the instruction was a joke and my work ethic wasn't good enough to keep up so I failed out.

The GPD course load is way higher than at SFU, and I'm doing way better. When I'm out of the school I'll likely go straight into an industry position in Engine Design.
