I play for fun and I always have, it is unfair being branded like that when I am not even the one starting/doing the arguement. I don't even play FFR seriously.

What happened is that Dossar posted his old best scores after I got mine, with a 3 year bump that's what started this.


Just stop this drama please. It puts FFR into a bad light again, just give him a rest, Dossar is Dossar he always have had accidental scores slip right out after someone gets a good score, this isn't new as Puppet and OWA says. This is just how it is he is a part of the community and that won't change anytime soon. Might as well just lay it to rest.

There's no doubt in my mind that this thread wouldn't've been bumped had Staiain not gotten his Rank 2 RATO, and I've seen Dossar's 'grats for second AA/AAA' comments. He probably posts like that in order to establish his own credibility as a player that truly knows how difficult X feat is instead of a lower tier player that can't really grasp how difficult the score is to achieve but says 'nice job' anyways, even though it looks like he's tooting his own horn in someone else's thread (which is what I thought at first too).

And yeah, what Puppet said. This shit happens all the time lol, Dossar just takes a beating for it because he's Dossar.

Also who ****ing cares.

I can actually vouch for Dossar on this one. I was speaking with him about getting a replay to frame comparison on my own RATO score, and we ended up talking about his achievements on it, which further led to him looking up his old SS's and replays. And we were talking before the score.

I'm going to chime in here really quickly.

A lot of people on this site are in some sort of (friendly) rivalry with someone else, even if they don't realize it. If someone within your skill level gets a score that is even marginally close to yours, there's a very high chance that you'll want to take on the same song and see if you can achieve near the same score or better than it.

For example, when AlexDest posted his booflag on Rave7, I went on to make an isolation of the one section of the chart that was murdering me and went to see if I could improve. Didn't work out too well. The same thing happened when I was randomly playing R^2 and passed over my Scrap Syndrome chart - I immediately thought of how Alex had it AAA'd and how I didn't. I'm not exactly sure how it's a bad thing even if Dossar DID post his score after Staiain intentionally, since people do it all the time. Dossar and Staiain are pretty close in skill level too (albeit, probably not quite yet on FFR).

The bandwagon of jumping down Dossar's throat is getting a little old and it just keeps adding drama -- can we just sink it here and leave it be?

I was talking with yo man yesterday and happened to be digging up my RATO runs that weren't ridiculous failures. I've gotten 20s a good number of times but they usually had misses and had more avs/boos (these were some of the ridiculous failures).

I mentioned this earlier too, but yeah.
