Wow, pretty harsh at the upper levels. Does D3 have a really hard file this round?

it's nasty for D3 players. Things like this happen quite a few times:


That might not look like much, but considering that the screenshot is at 1.925, that's tricky. The song sounds like it's roughly 140 BPM. The last third of the file is pretty heavily layered too.

D2 has a pretty tough file this time around, doing 32nds at around ~80-85 BPM? might be a little faster, again, this is just me gauging based of of what I hear. Take a look at both of the song previews and you'll see why both D2 and D3 are having a little of a hard time this round, haha.

D5 is doing extremely well compared to what I was expecting after seeing the chart - I really can't believe that the cutoff is 4g (and only one person at that score too).

And don't forget the fact that those 32nds are full of jumps, which one-handed players like me will find difficult (CURSE. THE. COMBO. SCORING. I've had 3-0-1-0, 4-0-1-0, 5-1-2-0...but my official score is my 15g one. Stupid jumps causing random misses.)

Honestly expect D5 to wind up at a 2 clean cutoff, maybe a few boos too, somewhere around there.
Chart isn't that hard.

Tricky mini-hand jacks aside, I for some reason or another just like the beat to it. I can play that song on FFR all day without getting bored.

If it's a windows computer it has an on screen one you don't need an actual keyboard to use.

I had to pee so bad. I would not let myself go to the bathroom until I AAA'd this. That sense of urgency kept me going.

Mirror was harder the first few times I tried it, but eventually I kept getting stuck in the same place while playing it normally. I gave mirror another shot today and after a couple tries realized I can nail every pattern; I just need to do it all at once. Finally done it.

AAA or die. Here I come!

Yeah! I never thought I could get the AAA. I might not be the best D4 player, but I am doing a lot better than last official. I was out horribly the first round last time. At least now I've made it to round 3.

Hopefully I'll have a place to play round 3, cause we're going on a roadtrip this Friday all the way to Calgary.


Edit: just realized Yellow Leaves is the hardest song I've ever AAA'd besides that fluke AAA I had on Monstrous Turtles when I used to play index.
