Tiebreakers are only invoked if there's a tie between non-AAA scores, guys. The round number has nothing to do with it.

Fair enough. Like this file more then last weeks if only because of my dislike of straightforward jumpstream.

There can still be a tiebreaker with AAA scores, it's up for the host to decide

Wait, so if someone else AAA's there won't be a tiebreaker round?

There is no tiebreaker for a round this early guys. Just means the cut-off will be a little harsh in comparison to the field for D6 next round~

You don't have to worry about that for D4. Competition really hasn't been fierce at all in terms of AAA'ing. I'm so glad I'm not D6 and I'm also glad I'll never be good enough to be in it anyway lol.

                        AAA'd Since 1983, no way that's a 76
Feels closer to a 71/72. Yeah, that's right. I'd contend it belongs as D5's song, believe it or not.

Resh, I contend you're wrong about that. 15 tps streams do fit in a >75 file (Frictional Nevada) offset by the relatively easy 12ths and 16ths. But when you layer jumps into aforementioned 24ths and make the streams this long and this awkward, suddenly you get what's basically Trisection V2 x1.1 (140 vs. 152 bpm). I can't see myself SDGing Since 1983 anytime soon--hell, I've only FCed it once--so if it is supposed to be a D5 file, maybe in one of the later rounds.

I'm gonna respectfully disagree with you. There aren't really any spots in Since 1983 that slip into the uncomfortable position, whereas in Trisection V2 there are a lot of oddly-patterned 24ths and annoying splittable patterns in the jumpstream. And that doesn't even get into the 16th jumpjacks, which are killer to combos, AAAs, and rhythm if hit even slightly off. Plus, Since 1983 has more consistent speed, so there's less of an adjustment on the player's part to keep things steady.

Using comparisons of current songs, by objective opinion it seems to be even easier than Spoils, which is a 73.
It's definitely tougher than Faint Breath, which is a 71.

I'd actually compare it to the second half of Staring at My Spaceship, Famicom Selecta or possibly Cinnamon Roll at times. So, I'd stick it at high 72/low 73.

Since 1983 has a lot of splittable stuff because it somewhat rides the 2 3 column pretty heavily with jumps and the stream near the end similar to how you can split a lot of Reality. Not disagreeing with you that it's easier than it's listed as, but it still has a deal of splittable odd patterns.

Trisection V2 however has worse patterns and these little parts that ride a particular note without quite being an anchor. Just my two cents.
