Any divisional system that's used is going to be flawed, sad but true. I actually enjoy the division system used in ffr tournaments, it gives most people a goal to work towards. People in division x have aspirations to one day be in division x+1, and it's that goal that pushes people to improve. And when you move up a division and you're stuck in the low end, sure you're struggling, but you humble yourself, knowing that your hot scores you were getting in the division before are normal scores for the division you are currently in. And sure it's tough on the low end, but it's a good challenge, you feel good about graduating from the division before, and you have the goal to one day destroy the higher end people in your division who are making you struggle now.

This whole "moving from one division to the next" idea is the reason why I like it, but of course it's rusty on the ends (D1 and D6) so idk.

Anyways, I'm hyped for division placements, can't wait to see who I'm competing with

The topic of 2 divisions vs. 6 is a bit of an odd one. At least it isn't just a one division tourney? Just have fun and enjoy the new charts/rivalries.
