After having watched episode 1...

I really hope the thing with the lolis at the beginning that was used simply to display the title and get to the city is not going to be a recurring theme. Not even FLCL took 7-minute-long chunks out of their alloted 24 and wasted them on something completely irrelevant to the plot. Plus "Lala-chan! Lala-chan! Lala-chan!" got really annoying, really fast.

If they're going to do something those girls, then they should do it real soon. Otherwise they're a complete waste of time, time I'd rather see dedicated to the main story.

As for the main story itself, it was more than entertaining enough for me to forgive the pointless crap at the beginning. I also liked the ending, both for the song (reminded me of the Guu Final ED, which I love) and the animation (reminded me of the Shinobuden ED, which I love). The little story they had going on during the credits was pretty out-of-charaacter given what the three of them had just been doing for the past 15 minutes.

This show certainly has a lot of potential, and I will be looking forward to it in the same vein that I keep a vigil for new Guu Final/Negima/Ultimate Girls episodes.

I hear www.bittorrent.com is pretty generous in regards to BitTorrent.

There's a good reason I said I didn't have bittorrent, and that's because I can't use bittorrent here. In fact, I do have the software necessary for it, but it's useless.

Matthew's already offered it to me, but he's not on at the moment and I was away when he talked to me.

Ok, it's not as fast-paced as the first one, but there's a reason. They have to give you some background information, so they do.

Needless to say, it is still a hilarious episode. I'm still cracking up over this line:

"My mouth seems to be spitting fire!"

It seems that the series is drifting further and further away from the insanity that comprises the intro and the first episode. Hopefully this little problem will be corrected soon, since the insanity of the first episode was what drew me into the series in the first place.

Bump: Episode 4 has been released.

2 months after 10 came out, 11 and 12 are released.

Look at this bump. From JUNE. And it's JUSTIFIED TOO.

Too bad I haven't seen it yet because this show is getting so emo and I'm not in a depressed mood...ever.

This show is one of the few series ever that does emo right.

That being said, I am holding out until 13 is released before I sit down and watch the rest. Hell, I might just rewatch the whole thing at that point, since it has been so long since I last saw any of it.

I decided to watch 11 and 12. I'm out of anime for a while anyway.

11 was spectacular in terms of action and non-emoness. 12 was just a lead-in to 13.

In any event, I cannot wait for the conclusion.

I watched up to episode seven, and once the group subbing it decided to wait 9 months to release the next episode I said fuck it.

It was kinda lame. Didn't really feel like it was going anywhere.
