Like, grind2 feels like what would happen if Dead and Direct had sex with Frictional Nevada and had a sick, warped lovechild on crack, and then that child took an epic dump on your lawn. That dump = grind2

It's not that I don't like dragonforce, It's just that all there songs sound the same and its a bit much after eight minutes of shredding 16ths and double bass. The same shit over and over gets boring after awhile. I've never listened to more than two of their songs back to back.

When I used to be into them, I used to listen to like 4-6 of their songs back to back before taking off my headphones because my ears hurt.

Also why is "summon" in quotation marks as usually that signifies an alternate meaning like for example last night I "visited" your mother but it really means last night I "fucked her in the ass" so exactly what is the subtext of "summon" because I am not sure I am comfortable with the implications

im usually the "nice guy" around these parts.. but this is bad, and you should feel bad. i would rather dip my balls in honey and hover them over a red ant hill than to ever hear such butchered crap.
Anyway, on a serious note.. If you truly want to have Dragonforce in game, just manage to do these 4 steps, and cross your fingers that you'll be very lucky.
- Go to a DragonForce show and try hard to meet them. Bring a camera. It's usually possible to do that because the metal guys, unless they're Metallica or something, are usually reachable somehow. Then ask them with the camera on for permission and try to ask quickly and make it sound as innocent, trivial and not like they're gonna get in trouble. They'll probably be drunk and tell you "ok, but you should settle these things with our manager/label instead, they're the ones to know about this."
- Spam the hell out of their label until you get a reply. Explain everything about ffr as best as you can. Make emphasis on other big bands that said yes, no song distribution, non profit community, free publicity, and other things like that. Getting a reply is heavily improbable, and if you do, it will most likely be a big "no". Otherwise if you truly want DF songs on here, I guess it's worth giving it a try. You could name Children of Bodom, Disturbed, Protest The Hero and All Shall Perish as band examples. There is a very detailed guide on here for permissions, maybe you want to check it out, it's in the op of the artist blanket permission thread.
- If you get both of these points on, you have permission from the band. Now since probably nobody wants to step this, go get DDream studio (you could get sm, but I strongly suggest you use DDream for this stuff). Read lots of tutorials, and you might wanna check out video tutorials too, who_cares and Icyworld made very instructive ones. Take your time and try not to be repetitive. Getting files that long to be ingame nowadays requires them to be flawless.
- Submit your files on the next batch following the submission guidelines. Cross your fingers and hope that your files pull through. Assuming that you never submitted anything, you could only send 2 files per batch, so send your best work first.
It's not impossible, just extremely improbable, but if it's something you really want, you could only make a fool of yourself by talking and not trying. I wish you best lucks with this, because you will need it!
