I'm going to be completely honest here, I don't really know what your problem is. I don't remember if you use the velocity or legacy engine, but even then I still can't help you. I remember when I was playing on someone else's laptop and my keypresses were registering really late for like no reason (when I would get a perfect, it would become a late good), and I couldn't find a solution to that

If anything I could give you an extension until something works out, but when it comes to bad keypress delay I can't help much. Is it also happening for you on the official FFR engine and Dragonsfury engine?

Hmm I see.. And well no all the other engines work fine for me, I just played the round 1 file and got 290-0-1-0 (which I think was in fact 2-0-1-0 or 1-0-1-0, w/e)

EDIT: It looks like my keypresses are registering fine, but the receptors are messed up: when I hit a real perfect, it gives me a late perf; when I hit late perf, it's a good; etc.. (Noteskin is not the problem)

I just looked at your 290 good replay data and saw this

0,0,0,0,63,960,290,0

This means 63 mid perfect frame hits, 960 late perfect frame hits (which would've been middle hits), and then 290 late good hits. If all of these were a frame earlier, it would've been a missflag score with zero goods.

This means that your presses are indeed a frame later than they should be registering.

Can't you just do -1 offset?

I just looked at your 290 good replay data and saw this

0,0,0,0,63,960,290,0

This means 63 mid perfect frame hits, 960 late perfect frame hits (which would've been middle hits), and then 290 late good hits.

This means that your presses are indeed a frame later than they should be registering.

It's weird though because it's the first time that happens on this engine, a few months ago I was playing the same engine with same settings and it was okay. :/

It doesn't change anything because I still need to hit when the notes are right above the receptors to get mid perfs, so I can't concentrate on the song cuz I must absolutely fix the receptors all time...

In Opkiller's case, it would be +1 offset. -1 offset would mean more late hits.

I'd suggest adding one to your current offset and see what results you get, because right now you're literally one frame later than a normal score (as I've presented from the data of your 290 good run).

How hard would it be to add a mode to the engine that calculates the scores with +1 to the offset?

But yeah, if you're playing with judgements off, why can't you just play with judgements on to see if you're dumping hundreds of goods?

Nope I really can't play, I'm used to watch close to the receptors when I play, and going with the beat only is impossible for me. Oh and I'm playing with judgements on, and the late perf shows a good.

(8:09:18 PM): the ONLY ONLY ONLY thing I can think of is that every single person complaining is using beatmania
(8:09:31 PM): because I fixed it to make the notes on center just like every other noteskin
(8:09:41 PM): but maybe that changed the frame you have to hit at?

(8:09:53 PM): not the actual frame but the visual placement of mid perf

Well I have some SS's if it helps: (I didn't hit anything on the pictures. First is your engine, second is FFR's, and last one is both, to see if the receptors were the same and at the same position.)
