Oh my god. I will always use distant for 180-210 bpm songs from now on.
This took longer than it should have.
WTF great count. AAA might look like it's possible, but I doubt it. (Not playing heavy, that jumptrill screws me over every time)
FC save for a blown (14)414141 transition, not easy to do at 13 tps.
I get to 1200 combo or so and I'm like "don't let up, DO NOT LET UP." Hell yeah, full combo. ^_^
(as I posted in the other thread, I'll have to get a new unzipping program...apparently they tightened up trial periods with Win 7. A friend of mine suggested 7zip, so I'll look into that.)
Dude, how the hell can you stand to play SM without a cMod?
Because I can't find where the .ini stores the speedmods, and the existing cMods are laughably slow...they're both under 500, and there's this weird "m550" option as well that I'm not sure what that does.
(also, I only play files with bpm changes if I'm feeling particularly masochistic...I CB rush the slowdown in st. scarhand so much worse than anything else in the file right now)
Get a older version of SM man. SM5's judging window is really gay for some reason so a lot of people don't bother even using it (at least I think that's why people don't use it). Use 3.9 or something, you'll see your PA/MA improve by a lot. Also you'll be able to use cMods which makes the game so much more enjoyable.
SM5 is alright but the Life Difficulty is way too lenient and it was pretty annoying how to figure out adding cmods. There were some interesting new features but I still use bboy's mod of SM 3.9.
