February Schedule: All times are in server time. There will usually be five games every day. This is a tentative regular schedule. There will be special events some days and any day is liable to permanently change due to popular demand. If tourneys are lasting too long or not long enough that can be changed as well.

Mondays

Format: There are 200k credits up for grabs for the monthly leaderboard. Whoever has the most points by the end of the month wins the most of the credits. You get points by placing well enough in any individual tourney. (See tourney structure when tourneys are set up in pokerstars for details.) Credits are going to be awarded via a 20% award structure. Everyone in the bottom 80% receives nothing. But you don't necessarily have to be a great player to win. This format encourages regular playing, winning percentage is irrelevant. In order to count as a "player" for the month you have to participate in at least 4 tourneys.
Note: At least 4 people have to be in a tournament for that tournament to count towards the monthly leaderboards

Payout Example: 50 players. Top 10 in total points win a share of 200k credits. 1st:35% 2nd:20% 3rd:14% 4th:10% 5th:7% 6th:5% 7th:4% 8th:3% 9th:2% 10th:1%

We had our first tournament that counted toward the Feb leaderboards, 7 entrants, and the game more than lived up to expectations. We had some excellent play, some sick hands, some "awein getting lots of 10's", and a key suckout that was the biggest pot of the tourney that knocked emerald out in 3rd place just shy of points. They got it all in on the flop on a q9q board. ksl had jacks. Em had queen eight. Jack on the river.
He did a good job of finishing me off afterwords, therefore I took second for 2.9 points and ksl33zy took 1st for 4.1 points, currently in 1st place for the leaderboards! Congrats to him.

That was a really nice match, even with that stupid jack at the end. Let's hope more people join. It would be crazy to have more than one table!

At that end, I just got an idea. I will give out credits to everyone who participates to the first tournament where there will at least 10 participants. I will give 100k to the winner, 50k to the runner-up, 25k to the 3rd place, 12.5k to the 4th, ... so ceiling(100000*2^(-n)) credits to the nth position.

Let's hope that might bring some new people. Free credits to everyone!

i used to like this game but i always lose. one time i had a royal flush i think and someone randomly pulled a casino royale out of nowhere and i was totally crushed because i bet like $500 on it, ohhh boy. i need to get better at this game!!!
