sword of the occult (as well as other snowball items) scale really nicely early to mid game if you get kills because of the cost effectiveness, but once you hit late game you should swap it out with something that scales better, like a bloodthirster or something

Honestly, something like GA works better as a last item IMO. At that point Tryndamere does so much damage it's silly anyway; he just needs some survival.

Also it's pretty funny when they kill you, you revive, they kill you again, you ultimate.

I've also switched to atmogs if I'm running hugely excessive gold late game. Also works well.



But yeah, the extra lifesteal from a stacked BT is going to be way better later on. Sell that damn occult.

Not sure how the game went on that long though if you actually got occult up to full stacks. I've done it a few times on Tryndamere and by 25 minutes or so I'm running like 450 damage and just killing people instantly. Other team just AFKs/Surrenders.

no thats why NOBODY gets occult on ranged ad champs

at least with mejai stacks you can nuke people from 100% health. what's the point in having occult? nothing

T_T we all know snowball items are for stomping pub games in low elo or unranked T_T
btw just like any ad carry should be doing i run boots -> BF sword or 2 dorans if i can't afford the BF sword

if you want stronger lane sustain and survivability you get 2 doran's. however, this means that the enemy ad will most likely get his bf sword first. whoever grabs bf sword first SHOULD be able to win any fights in lane, depending on how much burst you have, what stage of the game you're at, and how many doran's blades he has, as well as what happens during the actual fight. having a bf sword means you'll be able to last hit better and if you grab your bt/inf edge + vamp scepter first you'll be able to permanently control the lane until the enemy carry follows up with the same items

well it all depends on whether you're forced to b before 1650 gold

if you lose your first big encounter before 1.6k gold (if your support screws up or you screw up) then you are pretty much forced to buy 2 dorans (assuming you have 950g) for your first recall

so i guess whoever wins the first big encounter will have a big lead by getting the bf sword first

but all of these things are up in the air as jungler ganks come into the equation :P

I was worried when I saw our team comp and that riven was laning with me instead of going solo top. Then their teemo was pretty bad and soraka was aggressive for some reason and I got a BF sword at like 5 minutes. Went with Hexdrinker at the end because Fizz was the only threat at that point so I wanted some MR. Thought I'd experiment with that passive. They surrendered before it ever proc'd though.

Its fast, its fun, its dominion! I have about 30 SR games and about 700ish dominion games. I'm just not that good at SR, most of those SR's were me trying to play Teemo/Alistar with teemo as a carry.

I can give an example. I was top vs a Sejuani yesterday for 3 games in some customs.

At first I was Dr Mundo and all their jungle skarner ganks were unsuccessful because I ult'ed and cleaved my way out of there. So they had me and the Sejuani switch teams. We won this one.

For Game 2 it was Gankplank vs Sejuani. Except I wasn't able to go where I please. I was out'csing him big time, was 15-21 when I first checked it then ended up like 120-60 but they got like 3 nocturne ganks on me and I had wriggles ward at that corner by my river opposite the bush. I guess I had the wrong spot warded or maybe just over extending versus Sejuani even though I could never tell when Nocturne was going to come. Sejuani by herself wasn't threatening. Surrendered this one and game 3.

For Game 3 I picked AP twisted fate. I'm not that pro on Pick a Card and it felt like even though my Q was doing a lot of damage and was able to push with it... that I was very squishy. I got ganked a fair bit so I ended up buying 3 doran's rings, ionian boots, sheen > lichbane.

It really just feels like Dr Mundo is an old friend and I feel very comfortable while playing as Him.

So apparently I bought a bunch of RP yesterday. That's what happens when you drink at 11am. Seems that I bought Renekton and his Bloodfury skin. 1750 RP left, prob just gonna save it until I unlock some more champs with IP so I can get their skins :3

i only buy 6.3k ip champs when they're on 50% or 75% sale.

only spent $100 and i have 6 champs left to buy :') (voli, sejuani, ahri, fizz, viktor, galio)
