        Posting this for two reasons: New monitor possibly affecting my performance (I trashed my old one because LCDs just can't take the sort of punishment a CRT can) and because the reason I replaced said monitor is because my computer has developed a habit of not playing nice. Last night it kept going into pixel barfs.

            Ha my moniter has been randomly shutting off then becoming pixelated or really high contrast. Buy me a new one please

                        Sounds like the same issue I've been having. Only cure is more cowbell hard reset because all the input devices still work fine, so I can type the keystrokes necessary to start one.
