Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Round 2 has started!
I'm getting incredible amounts of lag on the FFR engine. The amount of random goods I'm getting on the easiest stuff make this round's song essentially unplayable. Trying any more is a waste of time, so I give up.

Well, I still play for fun. I think everyone should be playing the game for fun, whether they are attempting to better their score for a tournament, for rankings or for anything really. There may be a sense of pressure for your own division, but from experience, you actually play better if you don't rage, and try to relax. Many people forget to take a breather, and start to doubt their own skills.
Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Round 2 has started!
Unless an SDG can get me past this round (which will be nearly impossible to get) I'm out. Turns out my computer is having those lag issues I used to have on flash 8 which resulted in random goods when I hit the notes right. I found this out by finding on average it takes around 20+ tries to AAA any song over 2 minutes in length, especially 9+ difficulty songs because my comp is giving me random goods. And other than that, the colored roll walls are increasing my lag. Even without the lag though, an SDG would be very hard to get, but not undoable. I can jumptrill every roll wall now, though I only need to jump trill one, and the inverted ones I just wing. It's still a bitch of a file. I thought it was just a really high FMO, which it should be, but comparing it to a lot of lower FGO's and high FMO's, it is a more borderline file than I thought. It's definitely harder than FN and harder than Toxiferious, however it's not as hard as Ketsarku and is questionable with Reality. I find it significantly harder than Radical Rat.
It's getting better all the time
I used to get mad at my school (No, I can't complain)
The teachers who taught me weren't cool (No, I can't complain)
You're holding me down (Oh Oh)
Turning me round (Oh Oh)
Filling me up with your rules (Oooh)

Read my above post. I'm having mega lag too. This seems to be very recent, to you have any guess why?

Just curious...how are you approaching those patterns? If you practice AIM Anthem's [12][23][34] [34][23][12] jumps, it shouldn't be much different, and it goes with the song pretty predictably.

>_<
ah well, practice I guess....
I don't know how much it'll help, but breaking it down into individual jump components and putting it together afterwards might help for the execution.
[12]+[23]+[34]
Hit those jumps on your keyboard slowly, then try to hit them one after another at a faster speed until you can do it smoothly. I suppose it's sort of like playing a scale on the piano. Start slowly, then try it faster and see if you can do it consistently.
Oh, and hitting them with a slight emphasis will probably help your timing a bit too. If this song was for some weird reason double the bpm, you might be able to trick your mind into thinking these are just fast 8th notes as opposed to "tricky 16th patterns". Mind games do help I find.
Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Round 2 has started!
If those {12} {23} {34} jumps were constantly there through the song instead of the last 300 or so notes starting to become a easy-medium 10, I would have this AAA right now.
