I think I can AAA this song. Just got 3 goods on my 3rd try .

My third run was 3-0-0-1, then after 10 more plays, 2 goods, then BF, then BF, then BF, then another BF and I rage quit.

On one hand I'll be mega epic sad if you and Kayla and Maggie and a bunch of others having trouble AAAing are out this round, because I am enjoying the competition so far.


On the other hand I'd find it absolutely hilarious because I swear this song is easier than many 9s to AAA and I have no idea why people are finding it hard ?_?

Its not even hard lol.I've AAAd it many times in sm but for some reason every time I've played it I've gotten 2 random goods everywhere

You've also been skill boosting like crazy to where you're getting close to a D5 player. Where as I've been on the lower/mid range of D4. Plus jumpstream is a huge problem for a lot of players. Either you got it or you don't, which is why the debate on these files this time around is kinda bugging me. -_-

My problem is that burst just past 600 and then those jumps after 700, those ****ing jumps are the worst.

Also AAA'd asterisk, feeling slightly less noobish <3

Yeah, and notice I'm not pushing it this time really. While I disagree personally, I can certainly understand the arguments being made this time around and I'm fine with leaving it where it is.

The part I don't understand is that, if I'm skillboosting to near a D5 player, then wc who is clearly better than me in all regards should also have no trouble AAAing. I look at his levelranks and he outscores me on nearly every consistencymania file in the 9-10 region, but he keeps getting random goods on this? Weird.

Yeah those are a pain but I am used to them so its not much of a bother. Just need to get that down.

Velocity has some awkward ass jumpstream going on in it. It's easy to mess up. He may not be as strong as you with that. Also if you took notice and have been watching the dashboard, people who did poorly last round are struggling less this round and those who did well last round are struggling this round. Just something I noticed. I mean people will still keep pulling out the AAA I'm sure, but it's taking more effort. (Of course it doesn't apply to everyone, but I noticed this pattern so it's enough of them lol)

There's files that I'm good at and there's filesthat I'm absolute BALLS at. Also I'm not sure if you ever caught onto it but the jai score was on the sm version of jai lol if you look at the image name it says it there so don't get freaked out rofl. My best on ffrs jai is 120.8.12.8

What I like to do is not play the song for the little and play it again later. For some reason get better scores that way maybe you can try it.

Whatever, not making a huge deal of this- hope you don't think I'm trying to start drama haha, just making an observation. I just find it crazy that people can have such huge variance in style of file they are good at!
Good luck to everyone without an AAA, I'm sure the cutoff is going to be rather high this round but you can do it

I've noticed this too. I guess people have their own set of skills that they are good at and depending on which skills the chart emphasizes, a supposedly "easy" song could be difficult for one player and a supposedly "hard" song could be easy for another.
