    The best part of playing Can't Compete is waiting half an hour to see if you have to restart due to lag (aside from the long intro, I do think it's a very nicely stepped file).

    The file is better played with an offset, and even then I swear it's just dumping goods on me for no reason (The ones mid-way in the file I can understand, but the ones in the intro are bs to be honest).

    Not trying to complain or anything, since I can pass the song easy enough...

    EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm not having a go at anyone or the stepchart, more my mediocre connection and the fact I have stupid fingers.

        Yea the intro drives me up the wall, waiting to see if I have frameskip issues sucks.

        I'll try with an offset (never done that before), but I just can't seem to do very well on the song due both to the crazy patterns and the engine. (Sorry, but I kind of hate that we can't just use the legacy engine for this, especially since the majority of this tourny we could. Learning to play on a different engine with odd idiosyncrasies at the last hour of a tournament is not exactly ideal).

                You can use the legacy engine, though. There's two links.

                One is for the Velocity engine: http://www.keysmashingisawesome.com/index.html

                And for those of you who use the standalone flash player, the .swf link is at the bottom of the page for you to use.

                    Ok I can't get a better score on tiebreaker song at all. So if I were to post a score of the final round song it will count right?

                        well, can't get close to my score from yesterday. D1, it's been a blast. good job zek!
                        All in, not bad for my first tourny

                                My birthday was in August, actually.

                                Good attempt by both of you - it was a pleasure watching everyone D1 fight it out as the songs got (not quite progressively) harder.

                                23 minutes for the tiebreaker; any more attempts?

                                            Don't know how well the other two are doing, but I'm pretty much maxed out in terms of score, so I'll just have to see what the others can produce.
