Considering a majority of the 1.7 million accounts which have ever played cannot even pass 9's, AAA'ing one is quite a feat. Something I hope to do soon =p

I agree except difficulty 9 aaa's should be allowed because its pretty rare for an amateur to get one anyway (i've got 9)

You aren't an ametaur if you can AAA 9s. (or a 9)

I have to say Andrew, you're approaching the point of 'non-amateurness.' AAA'ing a 9 isn't really an amateur thing to do. I don't think you are too far away from posting in the big boys score thread. I understand why you don't want to jump in there yet though. You would prefer to be in the top of a lower division as opposed to being on the bottom of a upper division. You're stuck in that sucky grey area in between. However soon, you must accept your non-amateurness.

Being that none of you know how I'm doing placements and what I base it on this may not be true

Actually placements are a little different than my norm because I feel they've been getting slightly skewed in user tourneys as of late. But the skill curve keeps changing.

Just something to think about. Don't quit if you don't get your desired score, or discouraged because someone just aaa'd a super hard song, keep trying. You have our support.

Where were your words of wisdom the 5+ times I quit over not being able to pass a Challenging song?

disagree, aaa'ing most of the 9's isn't amateur.. aaa'ing less than 10 or so 9's is amateur

you'l understand when you get you're first 9 aaa
