Welp power outages are expected around this area due to the crazy early snowstorm/blizzard we are supposed to have, wish me luck and hopefully it either doesn't go out or it comes back quick so I can play round 1.
We're supposed to get 8 to 12 inches around Budd Lake, NJ. Hopefully I don't lose power or anything. I would like to keep this on schedule while still accommodating for everyone - the only way to do that is to not start the tournament earlier.
I would like to be moved to D2, some of the people in D3 are at my skill level, but there's also at least 4 people who will absolutely crush me so I know I won't stand a chance.

Unfortunately, you'd completely crush D2 with a lift of a finger. You have 10 C AAAs, and you score well on VCs (including a few blackflags). No player in D2 has more than three C AAA's, and none of them can score consistently well on VCs.
nois-or-e's stats reflect decent scoring on VCs in the past, but his scores for newer songs in the past few months are consistently in the D2 area.
Just because it looks like they will win doesn't mean they will. I cannot tell you how many tournies I should have won but didn't because of one song. It's really all song pending.

Statistically, Zak was overpowering almost all of D2. I'd rather have a person put in a division to fight for their prize, rather than giving them a free pass. Obviously, D5 and D1 is the hardest division to prevent this in, but for the three in between, it's really easy.

I always found the difference between D3 and D4 (usually I do 6 divisions though) to be the most difficult to do that in. Being the deciding line back in the day was a 10 AAA now days it looks more like Oni is or mass consistency.
http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/profile/joelph not really much to go off haha, haven't played many hard songs, if you want pm me some songs you want me to play on this account and i'll see what i can do.
Well, even though I want D2 I won't argue about it since it isn't up to me, I'll just have to try my hardest and pray for a skill boost to help me keep up with everyone.

While this true, there's also a consistency in scores within this area that makes people fairly easy to chunk up and separate into divisions.
For me, the toughest divisions to string together in tournaments are the lowest and highest divisions. Basing your song choice to accommodate for the lowest and highest player in those divisions is really hard; I'm actually finding my D1 final a bit easier than I wanted; conversely, D5's final is...hard. I might tweak them a bit as the tournament goes on.
