I will try to SDG both songs to secure the win.
People in D1 probably think that I belong in D2 now.
Either way, you guys gave me a good fight to the end. I thought at times that I was going to stay in 2nd until I got some motivation.
Sightreads for 2 reasons. 1, not sure what kind of time I'll have (or give myself). 2, the songs are no fun. They're not bad, but they're just not fun.
Also, I'm super jelly of D5 for getting At Least Speedcore Artists Aren't In It For The Money. Ever since AJ showed me this song I was looking forward to the chart and DAMN it's good.
EDIT: Dammit I have got to stop playing on mirror for one song then forgetting to switch it back.
Retried. I take back what I said somewhat. Scatta still isn't really fun, but Epilogue is better non-mirror (for me at least). Scatta would probably be better without the color :/ again, my own opinions, you don't have to agree.
Anyway, funny how these scores are almost identical.

Glorious Morning - Misc, level 48 We Will Fly - Dance 2, level 53 =.The Ocean.= - Dance 2, level 56, collab with krunkykai22 Garden Party - Dance, level 38
I've already reviewed this file for ichlie a while ago, so this wasn't a true sightread.
Anyway I'll just give the general gist of the detailed notes I sent to her:
Some roughly placed transitions, misplaced jumps, and inconsistent patterns. There were some jumptrills in particular I thought were totally misused.
The jacks were a lot of fun however, and in general the rhythms felt enjoyable.
The slow part with all yellow jumps was the weakest section in my opinion, though I could tell what was being stepped I didn't like the way it felt.
Overall just many of the minor issues that arise in files when people first start stepping. Nothing too huge. I'll go with 8/10.
Got all 3 goods in the beginning, master inconsistency
Ugh, this file hit me right with the type of patterns I'm worst at. Luckily it's really slow.
Some hidden 1-handed trill patterns, especially the (13)(24) jumptrill. Nothing too complicated in terms of rhythms.
I guess this serves as a good introduction to alternating jumpstream for the D1 people, certainly quite difficult.
Given the song you probably did about the most you could, but it's just not a particularly interesting song to begin with so I'll give 9/10.
No idea where I got the boo, but I got the goods early on as usual.
Definitely way harder than I remember. I retract my statement about this being too easy for a D2 finals file, I totally forgot about the epic rolls lol
Some mean anchored 8th and 12th jump patterns, mostly with anchor on the down arrow. Possibly worth trying mirror if those are tough for you.
The swing section has some tough left-handed 12th jacks with 24ths in them that might also be cause to use mirror mode.
Also did you guys fix the rolls in the swing section to be 32nds? If I remember correctly I had those as 24ths lol oops.
Despite the fact this is really long it didn't seem so bad, because there's lots of variation.
Between the swing, the vocal sections, and the melody changes the file stays interesting the whole way. It really felt shorter than many of the other files despite being so long.
This file was actually my first foray ever into stepping to spoken sections like that.
FFR history- I submitted this in the batch after we got Basshunter permission, but dore's file from the widget got put in before the batch finished. Needless to say I was kinda annoyed, I really dislike the version in the game.
Anyway after playing it again I really do like this file, I feel justified in giving myself a 10/10 :')
Sightread AAA like a boss!
I'm not a huge fan of the song, but this is stepped fairly well. It did feel a lot like the version in the SM Nostalgia pack, is this the same file?
The fast jumpstream and 8th jumps in this file makes a nice tournament counterpart to DotA, which is rolls, trills and swing rhythms. Well done in that regard!
Glad to see just 16th/12th patterns used for the rapping rather than color note spam, it feels more appropriate even though it's probably technically "wrong"
I'll give a 10/10, it really is quite fun despite the fact I keep wanting to find something to dislike about it.
Those trills are so borderline for me, I can *just* keep up with them. I personally think it would have been better with all 2-handed trills (especially the ones at the end >_>)
The color theory thing was cool, but it seemed to me that it caused the white arrows to be a frame later than usual in some places.
More importantly though it was kind of a bitch to read and didn't add that much for me. There was one place with an all-white roll (32nds I'd guess) that was nearly impossible for me to make out clearly.
Other than the trill and white sections this file had a generally awesome feel and flowed really, really well.
10/10 due to the major fun factor and great energy in the song, but really dude the 1-hand trills and color gimmick stuff could go...
I played it a few more times and you can totally see the progression from my semi-mashed sightread as I figure out the file and start to really aim for PA. Quite happy with the last score, that's way better than I ever thought I could get.
Well... this file certainly seemed a good deal harder than Gravity Blast 0_o
I felt some of the patterns in this were clearly included just to be difficult. Stuff like repeated 23(12) is downright mean with FFR's boo system.
This is also another file where I felt the color gimmick didn't add much besides artificial reading difficulty.
The jumpstream in the middle was difficult enough to hit without all the white arrows! Which is a shame, because it would have been my favorite part by far otherwise.
To be honest this file feels way harder than it needs to be, and is not that fun for me. 8/10 just because of all the potential, this could be made a lot better.
This score is awful but I don't feel like improving it.
Awww, this sightread made me sad. I got the miss in the intro but comboed the "hard" part, which is a shame. Would have been cool to have this FC'd.
I find little to complain about with this, other than the fact that AJ is a clever bastard for focusing on the intro in the preview lol
Really well stepped. The white arrow gimmick didn't distract too much (might have even not been a gimmick lol) and the patterns had a good flow.
Some strange roll patterns but that really can be expected at this difficulty level. 10/10 excellent file.
Interesting file. Quite a bit harder than the other file, at least for me.
Annoyingly long blank intro, should have put some arrows to the lyrics here, maybe a cute little jack to the "dun dun dadadun" XD
This file had so much potential to be annoying... but it was handled very nicely. The 1-handed trills were short enough to not be a problem and appropriately used.
The color walls were not that bad to read and highlighted the sounds very well, this is an example of how to use a color gimmick very effectively.
I have no complaints.
As for the score, I know I could FC this but I was actually surprised with my PA on this sightread, better than I expected.
Really a bit too far on the technical side for me ;_;
I had a lot of trouble with the jump patterns, they were impossible not to get boos on with my limited reading ability. The 1-handed trill patterns were also too fast for me.
The polyrhythms also seemed a little ridiculous but eh, if they're in the song might as well step them, the file was clearly meant to be hard!
I will note that the last half of the file seemed kind of empty, with just the occasional long jack with an anchored 1-handed jump for difficulty.
Not much for me to say as far as an actual review really because the file is clearly out of my league.
Wow. This is your first file? Back in my day first files were offsync pieces of shit with yellow note syndrome... how times have changed!
The alternating jumpstreams were RIGHT at the max speed I can handle, they were a ton of fun and I really had to push myself in those parts.
Anyway some of the bursts were too fast for me to even mash an FC on, so clearly my opinion is not worth much here lmao
Overall I will venture to say it seemed like you got that balance between technicality and playability about right.
I would even consider coming back to this file in the future when I am better at reading bursts because I like the song a lot.
One of the few FFR files I've seen that really was stamina-taxing, the relentless jumps are quite the challenge.
p.s. If this file is AAA-able then the tiebreaker file I sent is too easy! My 2c
probably could aaa, jumpstream isnt too bad and rest of the file is p. easy

Hi19:
a) Yes, Rawest Forest is the same as the Nostalgia Pack file, just converted for FFR usage. The 16th/12th vocal notes are actually correct as far as the assist tick tells me, and I'm actually planning to make a pad file for the song.
b) Don't worry bro, I fixed the 1-handed trills in Gravity Blast and toned down the whites in the version I'm sending to this FFR. Rest assured, you WILL have more fun on that version. (That is actually a 32nd roll all in white...)
should haveve had the aaa, mucked up after the js whoops (nerves are gay)
