Re: Your job "secrets"
I work at Quiznos too
We just don't enforce it at all but the entire staff is pretty sanitary when it comes to this stuff.
We do this for all our veggies, never meat.. k maybe the meatballs one time but yeah.
Hard boiled egg??? Must be an american thing haha.
We actually never ever use the microwave and we have burners for the soup which work really well.
We kinda rip you off at our store though. Let's say Quiznos sets the standard recipe for a Lg Prime Rib Steak at 5.5/6oz of meat and 4 slices of cheese, we're only aloud to put on 4oz and 2 slices of cheese. This applies for every sub we sell. In a way it's kind of saving people from a cholesterol freak out. The Triple Cheese Roast Beef would be 5oz of beef followed by an ABSURD amount of mayo (1.5oz...no, not kidding) and top it off with 11 slices of cheese (4 cheddar, 4 mozza, 3 swiss.. or something like that).
I actually really like it at Quiznos and there's not too much wrong with it, from what I've seen over the past 2 years anyways.
