What features do you want it to have then?

I can understand wanting to differentiate yourself from the competition, but you don't do that by refusing to add anything

Sadly it might not work for FFR since we're not hipsters like most of Apple's customers.

I was hoping that we'd just have some songs made so that the bpm changes would be noticeable. As in, no cmod is placed on that one file(not all files). You have no idea how much I would love that. But, this isn't a suggestion thread so I shush now.

ACC: What Rushy said. It's ffr. Like, to me, it's what FFR is. ~Perfect~

              DIFF:
It would provide a simple and easy way to arrange the [light] [heavy] [oni] controversy to have multiple difficulties into one song. Maybe.

              ARR: It's ffr. 4 key.

MULTI: I'm not in multiplayer much... I don't have too much concern for this.
Maybe I might start playing in multi player more if yall' added 2< player

HOLD/MINES: Wtf are you thinking. I guess, as others have suggested, that it would be as a visual effect. Not accounting to scores and stuff. Also, there are some things going on with the visual effects that don't work correctly. As when multiple effects are added, ex. Blink and Hidden. Sometimes they don't work as it should or, after you have activated the effect, and then deactivated it, it stills has the effect that you deactivated in affect. But whatever.

If you give FFR marvs, you are making it into stepmania, stay away from that or you'll lose a bunch of players and will have to rework stats by a shit ton.

                  ACC: Perf/Good/Avg/Miss/Boo
I actually voted for marvs to be implemented at first. Marvs give a more accurate representation of skill (as in you don't see 5000 rank ones in a song) but then I realized all the potential rage when you go quadding countless level 3 songs. No to marvs unfortunately..

DIFF: Multiple Difficulty per Song (On one menu)
Yes to this. osu! style please, preferably for the more difficult files (see: Passage D)

ARR: 4 or 6 arrows on some songs
Yes to 6 arrows but if implemented best to keep it in a separate level rank, somewhat like token level rank songs? As in people that don't want to play *don't* have to play 6 keys (doesn't affect average rank), but it might be good exposure/major fun for others.

MULT: 2 or MORE Player Multiplayer
                  duh

Holds can *maybe* be implemented if judges make sure they are used sparingly. No comment on mines.

Also comments on not implementing certain features because it resembles another rhythm game << what the. If it improves gameplay experience then by all means do it imo. People that have already reached the top have nothing to do except attempt the same few FGO songs over and over again for the AAA, it gets boring.

                    Re: BlackWebb Wishlist [Vote Now!]

Well here is what I think:

ACC: Perf/Good/Avg/Miss/Boo- I don't want to have to worry about another stage of accuracy. If I wanted Marvs there is stepmania for that.

DIFF: One difficulty per song: Reason being is because why would you make a fast beat song a 3?

ARR: 4-key since I'm used to it and I don't want to learn to tap 2 more keys on top of the four that I have to tap anyways. That would just confuse me.

MULTI: 2 or MORE. Sometimes playing 1vs1 can get boring sometimes but 2vs2 or 3 way/4 way multiplayer sounds way more intresting.

HOLDS/MINES: I like holds since it adds to some long notes in some songs quite nicely. Mines are just annoying and since its not going to affect score, why would I waste my time trying to avoid them.

I'm suprised no one has ever gotten a AAAA in velo engine yet. I've supported "Marv" timing for months, but everything is counted as a Perfect. The only way you would know that you hit Marv is if you somehow hit every note marv.

                        ACC: Perf/Good/Avg/Miss/Boo
FFR has always been frustrating when it comes to AAA'ing songs, I don't think adding Marv to the mix would be very healthy to FFR players.

                        DIFF: Multiple per Song
If this means what I think it means, then songs are going to get harder because of this... and that's what I want.

                        ARR: 4 or 6 arrows
I wouldn't mind trying to raise my 6-arrow skill a little bit. And I think the best way would be to do it on FFR.

                        MULT: 2 Player Multiplayer
I don't go on the Multiplayer much, but I would like to keep it as one player versus another.

I wouldn't mind Holds too much, seeing as they are fairly easy to hit, but I completely hate mines. We already have Boos setup to punish mashers, so there's no need for Mines unless you want to remove Boos.
So I've returned. Maybe I can stick around for awhile.

For the parts where we don't to put arrows but want something.
Either that or how about special files like that *winning* song or w/e it was called were the arrows began to move around (iirc)? Some system like ITG's courses for chosen songs could be challenging and a nice change as well. You could also make an extra genre just for these kind of files or something like that

I'm not saying that I want for example an effect where the arrows begin to go apeshit and fly at you or so, but you could go for some minor things like the arrows changing their colors from the normal [note] skin to blue arrow syndrome/white note syndrome skin (for example Witchcraft on DF's engine) or from non-mirror to mirror etc. Of course this will require to disable certain mods (like mirror) for these kind of files, but it's just a suggestion.

Why not just have the marvs as an option to turn on which doesn't affect scoring or judging. Think of it as a tool to help get better pa.

On Velo Engine thats basically what it is, though that information is never displayed back to the user.
