What I'm referring to is Theatrix Interative:

The company was merged into Sanctuary Woods in 1997, and when you look at this, Sanctuary Woods filed for bankruptcy in 1999.

So basically, both companies are dead. And nobody knows who made the songs in Theatrix's game "Math Heads". In fact, http://www.theatrix.com/ was the site of the company when the game was made but it's been long gone. I tried contacting Joyce Hakansson (the founder of Theatrix Inc.) but the site hasn't been updated since 2006 and Theatrix is also dead.

I am probably the only person who even has the mp3's of the songs used in Math Heads now. The sounds used in the game were in .AIFF format, and I had to convert them to mp3 (after all, the game was made in 1996).

I seriously doubt two no-longer-existing companies will sue FFR for using songs in a computer game that was released in 1996, especially when nobody even knows who made the songs.

Go make a search like "Head Banger Theatrix" or "Close as You'll Get Theatrix". The only relevant results will be the videos I uploaded on my youtube account zebtracks. Nobody knows who made the songs lmfao.

So I'd like to know where the permission status would stand for the songs used in Math Heads (I have them uploaded on my zebtracks account).

IMO, I think it would be perfectly fine to step their songs because one -- No one knows who even made the songs and two -- Both companies are dead so how could you even ask permission to use their songs anyway? They are not a record company so I do not see how FFR will be getting sued by a dead company especially since the songs were used on a computer game that was made in 1996 LMFAO

Quick question: Since I didn't get any SAP from the last batch, and the OP states "if you have a Simfile Artist title, your submission cap is 3.", would mine be 3? Or do I go by 2?

That's what I'm asking because JX says that as long as you have the title, your submission cap is 3. But I'm not entirely sure yet.

They don't, which is why he's asking because it's kind of conflicting. I'd say you should get the 3 since you have the title.
