    Re: FFR poker league -ongoing-

Was out of town this weekend and didnt know this shit was back on. I should be available for some more weekend games.

Glad I did not get a major bankroll going but now feel like Im gonna be playing poker less because of the setbacks. I had 4 tickets saved up and was just waiting for a day that I had free...

As for what reincarnate said: I would expect this happened to quite a few people and would not be surprised if the big three are going to be dealing with some personal lawsuits for a while.

Related Story: I worked at a DQ for 2 and a half years and the owners had some real cash flow management problems. Was supposed to get paid every two weeks but checks would bounce and people were starting to get paid with cash under the table. At one point I had 8 checks, meaning I had worked the past two months for free. The problem your friend is going through reminded me of this because he/she has money there but cannot get to it and its not their fault.

Oh man that's awful and happening to so many people. Weird how life can change so suddenly and dramatically.

edit: Tourney at 6 pm today. 10 minute blinds 2k starting stack, NL hold'em.
            Lets do it.

                News:

PokerStars has reached an agreement with the US Department of Justice that will allow players to cash out as soon as a suitable processor is found. This publically available agreement includes assurances from the DOJ that player cashouts can be processed safely. Cashouts for US residents are expected to be available within several weeks.

The Cash Out option in the PokerStars Cashier will temporarily be unavailable, to allow us to prepare the technical solutions and formulate the plan and processes required to allow you to cash out your balance. We will notify all US players as soon as the cashier is available to allow you to proceed to cash out.

Providing you with the facility to cash out is our top priority right now, and hopefully all US players will be able to cash out via the PokerStars Cashier in the near future.

Good news for everyone who still has money in their accounts.

ouch_~ put ya in the cooler like a six pack...

god damn i love making big value bets, especially playing deep stack short handed plo.

                      $1/2 4 handed plo
                      button straddles $5
limp sb with AsQsJ6, bb calls, folded to button makes it $15 more, two calls

flop T82 all spades weeeeeee i lead out $45, bb folds, button calls
turn blank, i bet $80 button flats... after this bet im regretting not betting the full pot because either hes drawing dead or has a set. if he has a set hed have paid the full $140.

river blank i bet $150 button calls shows a king high flush. nuts held up i dont think i lost value on the turn because if i bet the full pot he might have reconsidered the 2nd nuts.

runnning good plo/omaha 8 lately. booked a $580 win over 8 hrs. hope it doesnt stop when i go home to grind 1/2 and 1/3 nlh. holdems going to be really ****ing boring tho.
