Is it just me, or is Shao Khan significantly more ridiculous than in past games?

I've been stuck on him for the past couple days, granted I haven't played it much, but still..... damn. Raiden has and always will be my worst character. So I have an innate disadvantage.

Oh well, I have over 50% of the krypt, and I'm whooping all my friends asses online. I extremely satisfied

You basically gotta be a nub... Go to the other side of the arena and get your timing right with the flying charge attack. He's vulnerable when he throws a spear, and you pretty much just have to jump over his hammer throw.

He was a bit easier when I fought him with Smoke in Ladder, but I used pretty much the same tactic, as far as the timing went. I'd rather try and duke it out with him, but that's just not happening. (at least not until I get a bit better)

Challenge 10 in the Challenge Tower? I just replayed that one and all you have to do is beat Scorpion with Jax and then enter the arena fatality it tells you to do.

I'm on 90 at the moment, and that's one of the easy ones, let me tell you lol...

it's not that one it's the one were you have to beat the baraka guys with your damn blast thing it's so annoying, i skipped it and gone up to challange 66 i think , i have to say every other chalange i done is so much easier than that damn thing

Oh, that was challenge 9, I remember that one. I think there are three of the bigger dudes total and they take 3-4 shots to kill. You have to strategically use the ground pound. When there are 2 smaller ones + the big one, use it, and then spam the shot. I've not replayed it, but I think that's how I did it.

101 has been the only one to seriously piss me off so far. I remembered the pause button exists though, and used that to my advantage. I suggest you do the same when you get there, you'll know what I mean.

the one i think i'm going to have a major problem with is the 2nd to last one one hit kill goro that's going to be tough

Not a noob, just never cared enough to play with him ever, plus I was just trying to duke it out with him the whole time. Changed that up and won fairly easily. Didn't do what you said though, I just charged in, blocked, found an opening, and whooped his ass.

Just started on the challenge tower, only on 50 atm. O.o 275 shao kahns and a one hit kill goro? Crazy stuff with that....

it does have subtitles you have to put them on from the options in the menu that's how i got them on

I plan on getting the DLC whenever the PSN is back up. Hopefully they'll release Rain at some point, I'm kinda surprised he was in the game...

edit: I should be done with everything tonight after work. I'm on 250 with 43 more items in the Krypt. I'll probably need to get a lot better with a few characters to get it done though... I need to specialize with someone for that last one. I'm pretty good with Smoke, but I think I could get brutal with Ermac and Reptile with practice.

Who do you guys prefer?

I've been using Smoke also, along with Cage, Sonya, and Cyber Sub-Zero; but I really wanna get better with Shang Tsung and Ermac. For now though I do prefer Sonya
