Yeah I thinking of doing the same. I am planning on putting $50 on FTP and play a bunch of Sit n Go's because I usually do really well at 9 man.

ya april 29th 2012 see you there... already saving for my coming ac/vegas trips the summer i turn 21. my aunt told me shed buy me in to the $1,000 nl wsop event as a birthday gift~ hopefully i'll be able to play an 8 or better event and possibly a main event satellite, but id probably just end up spending the satellite buyin on drinks, drugs and cash games.

the 1/2 game i play at in raleigh now has a monday night 2/5 200 min no max.... 1/2 fish playing 2/5 with 400-1,000 behind holy crap get me in this game. my parent's neighbor used to play a lot but now that he has 3 kids, a nagging wife, and a real job he doesnt play much. ive brought him out to a few games tho, hes pretty solid. definitely going to ask him to stake me a dime to get in to that 2/5 and the 5/5 (500 min 1k max) down the road.

I've still got a good year and a half to try and fine-tune my game for anything live. I'm a fairly stable player online, but I haven't played enough live games to do anything.

it'll definately be profitable. anyone willing to put up 1500 for an event in may just pm me to join in our team. we're gonna practice a lot for it.

I have to wait until next year sadly >_> I turn 21 in August. But my dad said for my 21st birthday he would pay for one of the events that isn't over $2,500.

But I am planning on doing a $600 tourney here next month. There are going to be a few pros that will be here such as Mike Matusow, Micheal Mizrachi, Adam Levy and Karina Jet. It's going to be awesome. So if I do well in that, I might do that $1500 one you were talking about Lump.

I'm 18+ Can I be a maybe for May? It depends when in May. Needs to be late in the month. And this event is a 1.5k tourney?

edit: I like cash games more over tourneys now. Feel there is more skill involved but I might still be up for it.

Hey man, good luck with that -- it's nice to see that there's a group of aspiring elites here. I hope to be in a better situation financially to at least start participating in satellites; as confident as I am as an online player, I'm still not sure I have the guts to have someone stake me.

In due time though. As I've mentioned before, I'm still continuously honing in on my strengths and weaknesses. It's better to know where you're strong and where you're weak before trying to jump the gun.

Not a tourney player, so not really interested.

Hating poker lately anyway. Coming off my hottest like 20k hand heater I've ever experienced, I cashed out most of my winnings and have a lot of money sitting around. Re-deposited some and I swear the doom switch has been activated.

I think I'm down like, nearly 30 bi now across the last 10k hands and I need a serious break since I've just about depleted my redeposit. In a game I have a like 200k hand sample in with a 4.5bb/100 win rate. No idea what's happening lmao. It's just been some freaky weird rigged shit lately.

I mean, I had the weirdest thing that has ever happened to be in my entire poker career happen to me a few days ago. I had like 10 tables going, and during a hand I was dealt AA on two of them and KK on two others. I got KK all in pre-flop on both, both against AA! Lost both. My AA ended up in both situations in 3 bet pots, all-in on flop, both players showed overs and both hit on the river.

Unbelievable!

I mean, I've been reviewing in HEM to see if it's something I'm doing but it doesn't look like I'm leaking. I'm actually playing quite good, I've been losing the minimum everywhere. Just sick sick sickness
