Based on that link there, Southern Alaska just had a tiny earthquake D: this is spreading so far, it's upsetting. Makes you wonder what really is going on right underneath our own feet.

Radiation wouldn't spread that far even if 1000 nuclear plants melted down.
I would expect people in the U.S, Canada, and Mexico to receive an increase of around 0.0006 mSv annual exposure.

4.5 Sv is a lethal dose (if untreated), and 1 Sv is enough to cause radiation sickness.

And the fact that Australian Radiation Services is apparently a private company that just gives advice and services concerning radiation to businesses. Also, they don't issue maps. And they don't have any experts in the field of meteorology to know how the winds would carry the that radiation.

Whats going on is Alaska and Japan are both sitting on the Pacific ring of fire, which is a network of tectonic plates bumpin' and grindin'.

If something affects Japan, odds are pretty good sympathy quakes will appear elsewhere along the pacific rim. I wouldn't be shocked if some rather large earthquakes started hitting Cali or increased volcanic activity in Hawaii or Washington.
