Re: Massive 8.9-magnitude quake hits Japan

    Guys shut up about prayers.

People bashing them, let them do their prayers and don't try to bash their beliefs that prayers aren't good because it goes to show how much good thought they have on these people to actually at least pray for their good health.

But for those praying, yes they really do appreciate your thoughts but don't ever use it as an excuse for DOING SOMETHING IN YOUR POWER. How about donations? How about actually trying to send some money and help to that place instead of thinking that simple prayer will do enough? Show more of your good thoughts and actually try to help as much as you can.

Re: Massive 8.9-magnitude quake hits Japan

Recently heard that my friend's family was all alive and well. As well 4/39 kids I know in Japan have reported in, to my knowledge... :c

      Hoping for the best.

You don't need to be religious (which i'm not) to give hope to people. Hope is hope... it helps people, you don't need to donate money to help, though it certainly will. :P

USA lost many lives on 9-11-01 and now Japan has lost more lives on 3-10-11. Add the 2 dates together and you get 12-21-12.

Dorby money doesn't mean shit. We could donate 12 million dollars to japan only a quarter or maybe even less of that would be used.. Just look at haiti. What the **** did money do for them? nothing. Quit being an immature, ignorant douche because your a godless heathen, you'd be crying all the way home if i talked bad about your beliefs, that is if your even smart to enough to understand any.

Meh probably wasted my time with this because your most likely some Scientologist sucking Mel Gibson's cock for cash.

That's because no one did their research in actually donating to the right institutions that's been inspected in their use of donations =/

                    look

Haiti was ranked among the least favorable business place and the most corrupt in the world. Japan is a first world country which is far better equipped to handle a massive influx of donations. They're organized, efficient, and well trained. Japan =! Haiti

yeah thats true, but who's to say the same thing isn't happening right now with japan?

If God want's most of the people afflicted by this to survive, then they will, if not then theres a reason for it, even if it doesn't seem like. Like the saying ''God works in mysterious ways.'' In the end God doesn't care about how much money is donated towards a cause.

@ hammy: sorry for having strong beliefs, and differing opinions than others.. It just makes me mad when idiots like Dorby post in these forums

After the explosion, most likely caused by hot fuel meeting water, radiation levels around the plant actually dropped? I have no idea why or what that means but w/e.

e: Although I'd like to point out the the hilarity in you and darkshark claiming an explosion/meltdown was impossible, followed immediately by the plant melting down and exploding
I said a nuclear explosion was impossible from a nuclear power plant. This is a physical impossibility. That doesn't mean it can't explode though (which I stated).

A meltdown isn't an impossibility as far as I know, so I didn't mean to type that. Rather, I should have said statistical unlikelihood, given the safety precautions built directly into the reactor that go into preventing these types of things.
