Re: Too many songs?
Oh I totally agree.
I was mostly referring to the really easy songs. The long 9's and up are pretty fun and a nice challenge.Comment

Re: Too many songs?
I think in a way a lot of the older historic FFR Files are better than a lot or at least some of the newer ones simply because they've been around longer so I'm more used to them. Though a lot of the new songs are still really good, there would be only a few I disagree with, and I can't even remember what files lolComment

Re: Too many songs?
I started playing ffr in 7th grade, and eventually the song Torinouta was uploaded. That got me into J-core, which led to happy hardcore, which led to gabber, which led to...
Anyway, I'm 18 going on 19, and now I mostly listen to electronic music over anything.

Re: Too many songs?
FFR got me into a lot of music overall....I still don't listen to everything on this site outside of FFR, but I definitely have a greater appreciation for more genres. If nothing else, FFR growing will continue to add good music (or rather....bizarre in some cases) to my collection or tastes overall. I think growth is good. If it's "too big", then perhaps competitive FFR isn't for you.

Re: Too many songs?
I think you're right; people too often inject nostalgia into what they would consider "objective" reasoning.
I also want to say that I can still dislike a song but enjoy its chart (and similarly, like a song, but don't care about its chart). So it's a two-pronged mechanism - it's hard for me to really dislike both aspects.Comment
