i've tested it in mw2 and it indeed did not work, i still had auto-aim when i use ADS
haven't tried in blops but im assuming its the same because consoles are so much stranger to use without autoaim(ex: trying to shoot a teammate in halo whos moving around a lot)

Seriously, there is no consensus on this to be had from google. CoD wiki doesn't even mention aim assist anywhere, and they're relatively thorough in the nitty-gritty numbers and mechanics going on in CoD.

Isn't old at all? It came out in 2004, the mechanics and the engine are COMPLETELY outdated, newer games such as MW2/BC2/BlOps are far superior any day, there's no arguing that. The only thing you can dispute is that you personally enjoy CS more. Find some real players and the CoD games become more difficult. Obviously if you're just playing random pub players it's simple, just like CS.

EDIT: Wait weren't you the one complaining about how PC players just go on about how CS is the best game ever in these arguments? Oh.

I don't prefer CS at all :/ if I did, I really would do anything in my power to get a PC back. But if all that's left on the PC is people like you, I count my blessings I've moved onto the PS3.
And it's far from the best game ever, yea, it's brilliant, but I much prefer other FPS. I said I hate idiots like you who think the PC is the best ****ing thing since slice bread, and * a lot* of the time (not always) bang on about CS:S Vs CoD/Halo. (Same goes for those who bang on about Xbox or PS3 being the shit. Go **** off and die.)

(And no, I'm not some amazing never lose, perfect K/D player, but I can easily go into a losing match and single handedly turn the game on it's head because it's that easy of a FPS)

BlOps is outdated, it still uses the MW2 engine. That's still more recent than 2004. People still playing a game doesn't make it not outdated, by that logic Super Mario Bros (The original) isn't outdated, which is obviously ridiculous

They planned on linking MW2 on Xbox live through to PC, but they scrapped the project because the Xbox players couldn't hold their own against the PC players. I'm not saying that the players are 'better' players, but a mouse/keyboard are far superior a controller than analog sticks, buttons, and triggers.

As for the "Don't try and say otherwise, because it makes you seem shitty" that's absolutely ridiculous. Since you apparently don't play PC anymore, you don't know the PC player base or their average skill level.

Again, the game being easy is completely relative. Since you think it's easy, you obviously haven't been playing against the right players. Unless you're trying to argue that you're the best there is and you can't be beat (Which you already stated that you're not that good, which completely debunks that argument). There are good players, there are bad players (Undoubtedly the majority). It seems to me that you're trying to argue that CS is a more difficult game all around, which is slightly true. It's more difficult to aim, bullets do slightly less damage, etc. But there's still the skill of the players that really makes up the difficulty of the game. CS is more 'difficult' because the community has had far longer to develop.

EDIT: Hey guys I went a whole post without swearing at my opposition damn that sure was difficult.

I don't quickscope on Blops, btw. I dunno about any of you guys, but I've done a lot of quickscoping while playing HCHQ on CoD4. It's really all anyone ever does on CoD4 now.
